Looks like they might have just changed the configuration of the bricks - look at you photo from the 21st and note the white markings on the side of the brick - then look at subsequent photo on April 10 - same white marks. Same scuff marks on the bottom left outside of the metal retaining wall across all the photos apart from the one where you can't see that angle on the 21st but you can see the consistent white markings on the brick. There is sufficient evidence to join all the photos up to the same source although the brick configuration might have been changed which looks like it could easily be done.

Itsyou - given the seriousness of your suggestion that another companies smelt photo was used I revisited all the smelt pictures - I will try and give you the benefit of the doubt when I say perhaps you were viewing on a small device and missed some of the small detail and consistent features - just look at the scuff marks in the retaining well wall and the white marks on the side of one the bricks directly behind the pour. All the photos are from the same location would you agree on closer examination? Again given the seriousness of the implication of your comment I think it would be good to post again on the subject please after you have looked again.....

Waptrade - it really is a question that only you can answer - many including myself believe its hugely undervalued and a great buy - many others will want the funding news / contract signed and squared away. You have to make your own decision based on your own risk appetite. Hope you do well in whatever decision you make. Personally I think you will make money at whatever time you invest - the amount is likely to differ though but that again is just my opinion.

I certainly agree at this price it’s a screaming buy but I’m not expecting the outcome of the visit to be translated into funding for a little while yet. I imagine the DD team are collating facts and data and then will take some time to translate this into a report. That report will then need to be analysed by the prospective funders with levels of sign off leading to high level agreement on terms and then hopefully woven into the legal documents which have been worked on in parallel. Various reviews and sign offs by both boards and then hopefully binding contracts signed and market announcements made. All conjecture on my part but big deals need to follow a process. Interesting to see whether we hear mood music in the interim. Everything is looking extremely positive though from my perspective.

It’s been like watching a kettle boil but in reality it’s inly 4 months since OCIM walked. Robbie and his team have done a simply amazing job to pick themselves up, regroup, replan, renegotiate with prospective financiers……remarkable!!
Remember - the SP has to double to get to where we were and the infrastructure and resource has moved on considerably since the last 1p days…..oh yes, nearly forgot the POG !!

Only a couple more pieces of the jigsaw needed Mickey but personally I have a good idea of what the picture is going to be - I'm in full agreement with you for what's its worth.

Thanks SW - I see what you’re getting at. You have to ask yourself just how many independent expert companies out there in Africa qualified to give an assessment. Great that Paul is already very familiar with the general area and challenges rather than say some Canadian or Australian outfit that will not have that appreciation.

Nice find SW! Are you a detective?? Looks like Paul has a few more grey hairs since his linkedin profile picture but definitely the same chap. Struggling to find a post about a visit but I did note he liked an OCIM post!!! When was the visit post please?

Agreed SW - plates spinning / moving forward / POG on the up - do your own due diligence folks as a big finance company invest in sending a team to the site for 3 days to do theirs. The new crusher has arrived at the perfect time to showcase the companies future production capabilities. CGAT is a serious company on a serious mission to make serious money.

We don't know who SW - but we do know why - for those not keeping track its the due diligence by the potential financial backer. 6 people over 3 days - they are very serious about this - they want to do a deal!

Wills - just to emphasise you need to do the dummy trades to see that actual spread - even the commission paying platforms might only show a wider spread at a high level until you are trying to actually trade.

Will - suggest you try any of the big established brokers or banks - if they are quoting commission fees on transactions its fairly safe to assume that they will offer the narrower spreads. Out of interest what size of transaction was your offer / bid spread based on? Perhaps do a dummy buy and sell on £2K worth and quote the spread here - if I'm online I will try and replicate on my platform for a comparison and share back.

Hopefully most people watching the SP movement understands that we effectively have 2 types of treading platform being utilised here - with widely differing spreads.
One one hand have the commission free apps - current spread 0.35 / 0.45
One the other hand we have the larger platforms where you pay a commission but the spread is much narrower - this morning when I looked mine was showing 0.418 / 0.44 on a £2K trade.
When you are looking at Google finance and the intraday movements its easy to spot the differences - the commission free ones are usually low value transactions. And then we have the ned of day clear out of the none trading platforms it seems - and hence why we normally get round numbers and it's almost the luck of the draw it seems (unless games are being played) as to whether the final trade is a buy or sell. I am sure that you all know this but in case some are wondering why we get the big fluctuations sometimes and which I personally try to ignore as an irritant.
Good start to the day reflecting near term news which I believe will be extremely positive news.
I recommend watching Mikey's link below - we are approaching a very positive phase for junior miners and we (GCAT) are just leaving the changing room, having changed our running shoes to get to the starting blocks here. Robbie is hopefully tying the laces as I type!

Fully agree Mickey and with Caracal we have a double leap due - one to get us back to the previous level prior to OCIM walking and then secondly along with the rest of the juniors to close the disconnect between the gold stock valuations and the actual POG realities.
