Markets have lost faith- interesting observation - the SP has stabilised and risen off the bottom. What makes you say they have lost faith?

What resource update are you referring to exactly please?

Now I am not a miner or a geologist - in fact I have no hands on or off industry experience. But I am able to check the company website and unsurprisingly Caracal management is full of relevant experience. Franck Bziuoerne is the senior geologist with over 22 years of experience as a starter. Indeed if you read the RNS today it states:

Qualified Person:

Mr. Franck Bizouerne, P.Geo., Group Mineral Resource Manager of Caracal Gold PLC, is the Company's Competent Person under JORC Code "Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects" and has reviewed and assumes responsibility for the scientific and technical content in this press release.

So being a non miner / geologist I am reading this and I am thinking that these guys must know what they are talking about to put their professional name to the statement.

That's my view anyway.

Are you trying to invest in a fund? not sure what a KIID document has to do with buying GCAT stock? Have you posted on the correct board?

FillToSpill - I think we have a lot of potential money sitting on the sidelines watching - each will have a tipping point with the news flow - the early bird gets the worm but some are happy with the crumbs - and thats ok - everyone needs to be comfortable with their risk / reward actions and most importantly be prepared to give this and every other investment time.

Hi Apro - in terms of tonnage the CEO has stated in the RNS that the focus is to increase to 500tpd in the new few weeks. I don't think this is a tap that you can turn on fully all at once - all stages in the production process have to be aligned / treated and increased in a measured fashion. There is a danger of tripping up unless this is done methodically and the company are painfully aware that the market want consistency and delivery against the strategy.
Interesting to see the grade actually came in at just over 6g/t fleetingly a few times - love it that they have the lab on site.

This is a very solid RNS - plan extended to 180 days from 90 days and looking to increase to 500tpd in near future, alongside the high grades. The on site lab is showing it’s true worth now - the company is delivering on its promises. Time for investors to focus more on the future rather than focusing on the rear view mirror. The prospectus has been promised and I have no doubt will be delivered and we are rapidly approaching the potential financiers technical team arriving on site. They should be impressed with recent activity - their brief will be to assess capacity and capabilities - the companies resilience to unforeseen events such as the power outage is being highlighted.
Very very positive from my personal perspective.

lmlim - we're off to Italy for our summer holiday - just slightly worried as I keep reading that Rome isn't going to be built in a day or something like that - just hope it's sorted by the summer - just like Caracal!!

Agreed Mickey - only a question of when in my view. I will be amazed if we don't get some positive SP movement before the prospectus and confirmation of the refinance deal being done but then again the market continues to amaze me after all these years.

Good to see the increasing grades and very importantly that the company is delivering on their timing promises - just what the market wants to see - consistency. Ladies and gentlemen this is a company that has learned lessons - listened to market feedback and is acting accordingly.

Weather has been awful Suggins - lots of rain - I understand that can play havoc with the crusher and impact throughput but its part of the challenges of being a miner in that part of the world. They are working around the clock as we know and looking at the board behind they are very target driven - just what you would expect and want to see.

All I know is that the current MC is derisory - a word that sums the current situation up perfectly - thanks StockBox.

For me this was Robbie's best interview yet in terms of setting out the roadmap - very clearly articulated. As investors we have been through turbulent times to say the least since OCIM let us down - but it feels like we are about to get firmly back on track to achieving the strategic goals. The SP will catch up with the reality of the situation and when it does.....
