In the past we used to process up to 1000tpd in order to achieve our target production of a 1000oz per month.

You missed out the important UP TO part.

I don’t normally stick my neck out with SP predictions Mickey but difficult to see why this wouldn’t be 1p plus when funding is in place - so that’s looking like end of Q2 so a bag between now and then if my hopes come to fruition and it won’t stop there of course. Fingers crossed your shorter term prediction comes true - it will help mine!
Thanks to the team at Caracal and for Robbie’s leadership - he has taken some knocks on this board and I look forward to him being applauded for navigating the company through very difficult waters.

You can check the trades by clicking on the link above - Google tends to report the last trade price but as you will see there was a flurry of small tickets. I was curious with so many being recorded at 16:18:18 - almost as if they were saved by a broker during the day and posted all at once - does anyone here have insights that might be able to explain?

Very positive day - we have a financial runway to the larger finance deal and 2023B should be a belter when all the ducks are lined up and funds drawn / expansion strategy kicks in with gusto. Its looking very good already in my view but then I have been a fan of Robbie and the company for some time now even if we have had a rocky few months - they will be forgotten soon enough.

Chatty. I don't think that the company has hidden from the fact that the funding issue with OCIM has created a stressed situation - Robbie used the terms stressful himself in the past interview describing the last few months. You aren't providing any insights there.
Look at the strategy and the upside to production once replacement funding is in place (advanced stages of negotiation as stated by the CEO) and the updates are in place. Do you think that repaying the loans is going to be an issue down the line?
What are you referring to in terms of FCA acceptance of report please?
All the discovery work in house - whats your point? Do you think they are lying to the market?
Poor BoD judgement - only in perhaps having all eggs in one basket with OCIM at one time - I don't think that mistake will be made again - we all live and learn.
Valueless at a P&L level - interesting and narrow view of a company with 1.3M JORC compliant gold reserves.
Just a trading stock - of course this is going to be traded by some - what stock isn't but to say its just a trading stock - I think that you will find that there are many long term holders here chatty - Im one of them.
Keeping the SP alive is down to herd mentality and interest - another interesting comment - doesn't that apply to every stock out there to some degree? I come back to the known resource - known gold in that quantity in todays market will always make sure that there is an interest in this company.
Just my take on it. Google finance showing the stock up 27% today - the herd like todays RNS chatty - are you invested yet?

Fully agree ID78 - we all have our own risk / reward appetite - and we all know the correlation between the 2.....
I'm in - stayed in and will continue to stay in but fully understand the risks that go with that.
I'm very optimistic personally and Robbie has shown he can keep an ace up the sleeve with this mornings RNS. I wouldn't bet on him against having others up there - I think he has learned how to play the game so much better since OCIM left him hanging.

Absolutely Mickey. Looking forward to a Robbie interview at some stage - he will not let this opportunity pass to spread the good word! We should motor back towards our previous SP now if investors understand the concept of value and how Caracal are going to unlock it.

Bang on ID78 - that realisation is going to dawn with the market at some point and I fully expect some large substantial moves forward in the SP as FOMO kicks in. Sure we that will include the day traders but for my money this is a long term hold. Just look at the current MC!
Thats my view - lets see what the market thinks now.

SonO***un - a payday is always your gross earnings - just like your monthly payday, unless you automatically take off your monthly household costs and consider that to be your number - how depressing would that be!
POG set to rise much further over the coming months according to some commentators- the AISC set to become a lower % of the gross revenue.

Caracal Gold PLC, the expanding East African gold producer with over 1,300,000oz of JORC compliant gold resources, is pleased to announce the discovery of a new high-grade zone above the current underground workings and above the areas drilled as part of the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) on the Kilimapesa Hill deposit.

Robbie looked very happy

Banks used to be the safe, conservative, boring stocks which were the bedrock of pension funds. How times have changed and then again not changed that much it seems since 2008.
Personally at this point in history I like something tangible, quantifiable and global. Happy to be invested in an under valued (at the moment) company that they can deliver against my set of requirements.

For those watching the SP on google finance - a good free live barometer - you could be forgiven for thinking that there is huge sells going on to cause the SP to drop to 0.3 - not so. Dummy quotes on a £5K trade show 0.338 v 0.35. So those trades at 0.3 must be on the cheap commission free sites with huge spreads. You get what you pay for - or don't pay for in this case.

Worth remembering that the scoping study in December was working on 1650.....inflation will have hit costs and no doubt figures need revising but still!
