RE: Do You Stick Or Twist16 Feb 2021 21:08
Well said SaS. Not only all that you say but each day that goes by we are adding value to the asset and derisking the project. The gold price is steady and the copper price is strong. The future for both metals is outstanding.
Did we go too high at 38p and got ahead of ourselves? Maybe but some were saying that in the teens and when GDXJ did their awful purchase at 27. But the asset caught up with the sp.
Could the company have handled the SW news better and explained to the nervous, weak, new holders better. In hindsight yes I think so.
This company is a victim of its own success and has attracted some of the worst kind of investors recently. Those who treat it like Bitcoin and look for instant gratification. Sadly for them the real world doesn’t work like that. Fortunately some of us have been able to take advantage of the weak holders and buy significant amounts on the shakeout. I have picked up just under 5m shares since scally. It wasn’t my plan but you have to react to the price vs the asset vs the opportunity.
I am totally relaxed about ggp, the management, the assets and the opportunity. As I said yesterday to a few, I think this is the best risk/reward since it was 2p. If it falls further I will keep buying, if it rallies, I am not a seller.
Everyone has to do what suits their risk profile. Sounds like a few got too big, too late, too high. I am sorry for that but the market is very unforgiving and has a habit of giving us a slap from time to time.
I think this is a wonderful opportunity. Time will tell.
