Bamps does some top work and should be thanked not hounded. If you want to put some extra realism on to the numbers you can apply a probability of success (a very low percentage). So all of these assets could have something but very few will. But if we have drill bit success I think Bamps has given us an excellent idea what should be there if it’s a hit.
And Dave, I know you will quake at this thought, but you are on your final chance to be reasonable....

Morning Addicknt. If Solgold are to be believed, there is indeed that much gold in Alpala. While the official announcements say that only 4.2m Au Eq has been discovered at Hav, I am not sure that there are many who think this is the end of it. In fact NO ONE. There are many intelligent posters who think the number is way higher. I have always thought 30m and there are some who think higher still. So in official announcements you are right, but I expect NC will have announced a reserve at Hav higher than Alpala before anyone starts digging there.

Think you might like jets video posted at 1708. Whether others believe it all or in part it should be essential viewing as at the very least it will make you think.

Hi guys I took all the info from the MVIS website. It shows all the money tracking the index, not just the gdxj. I am presuming all other trackers will be doing same or similar to gdxj, or should be! I haven’t attempted to recalculate the weighting at last night as I would need all the other closing prices of all the other constituents. I don’t think that you can say sp fell 5% so the weighting fell 5%, but I accept that it will be different each day. Maybe the site will tell us on Monday.

Speedy, why don’t you and I buy them all, then offer them out at twice the price? (That’s just for my old mate tymers....).

Ok folks we have a serious problem with tymers. There are many on here who know how etfs work. He isn’t one of them. He thinks algos run etfs, when an etf is a pure tracker of an index and not a product that takes price risk. He is peddling lies for some reason. Most of us who had a career in finance/city/equities will see through him but some innocent amateurs will be taken in by him. He is seriously dangerous. I will filter him and you do what you wish but you have been warned.

TmT. Good post. One thing that you may have overlooked was that ggp could have demanded that NC stuck to the original farmin agreement which would have meant that NC could have been doing a lot of this work at their own expense. The farmin deal allowed for min spend but not max spend and we wouldn’t have reached stage 4 yet. This might have prevented nc from starting the box cut and delaying things for years. So the deal in the autumn was as good for NC as it was for ggp. IMO.

I am finding it fascinating that there is all sorts of the usual chit chat about this and that today, not much of any relevance to the company and the sp. In the midst of all that, Bamps/Paddy/Chain has put out something of true relevance and yet the nonsense chat continues. Is this because people on here dont understand its significance? Or maybe they think that a significant raising of the MRE numbers is already baked in? Maybe some people just prefer BOOM!
Lets hope the analysts and the Instos are a lot more savvy and appreciate what was hidden amongst the news on Weds night.
