I dont suppose KM could name ten, but then you are a world leading expert on...........? WTFK....

Despite what Quady suggests, block caving isnt easy and there arent that many people who can do it (and even fewer contractors I would think). So to have KM around to give some realism to the bod and management is excellent. He must have learnt some valuable lessons from the disaster that is OT. Hopefully we wont learn them again.
His experience may scare the bod into mitigating the huge risks there are and you know the best way of doing that....

Evening Quady. I don’t take as the gospel truth what directors say. I think they try to keep various people happy, giving titbits of news or information whilst always giving themselves the opportunity to change their mind and the course of action. So I will be intrigued by what KM says and does over the next few months. Sounds like he could be a good candidate for the permanent job, if he should want it. It would surprise me greatly if KM were to conclude that the best course of action is to build a mine at Alpala at solgolds risk but of course he may do. He has big company experience and sometimes these people struggle to understand how small companies are much more constrained. I have no idea whether I will buy sell or hold next week next month or next year as events will change how I view things. There is a much higher chance of me being a lt holder with a pragmatic KM in charge than a maverick NM in charge, that I would say.
But as always, these are my opinions, no one elses.

If he lays out a strategy incl finance and construction partners and its credible then yes I will believe that’s what he thinks. That’s not to say it will happen of course.
I would equally like to test his beliefs with some alternatives, but I accept that that won’t happen either.

I would give the new ceo a chance to prove himself but I wouldn’t believe him unless/until he proves himself. I think Jason and Benn might flourish now they are free of the control that NM exerted over them (and everyone else tbf). The new chairman could be good if he can keep NM in his box. That’s about it, sadly.

It’s not so much the answers to these questions but the obvious follow up questions that are interesting to me. The questions are just the opening gambit and I leave it to rk to take the discussion into a wide ranging chat about alpala, funding and their two large mining shareholders.
I am not overly interested in what they say on their website because quite frankly I don’t believe them much and Nm at all.

The roadshow is virtual. Its probably a few presentations a day from his desk and with the help of some presentation slides, which they should put on their website, if they havent already.

I think if you look back at my posts I have always said that I am a big fan of Nick and have always believed that production was the only way forward. I have always said that I loved the previous board and I am sure if you look back at my posts that I have always believed the agm was a great success for Nick and the old board.

So Quady, do you think they had a choice over this? I don’t. This cabal had got to the end of the road. It was a dead end. Should we give them credit for saving the company? Not really, cos they were driving the bus over the cliff, if I can mix my metaphors....

I have to believe that the new chairman saw the mess and the way the company was run by a clique and knew things had to change. So Moller has to take his fair share of the blame. Sadly in NMs pocket and not at all independent. Just need to get rid of the rest of the old guard and then we can move forward as a proper company.

Dave, maybe you can find me some examples of my ramping? I do sell, but of course I have to buy first, which presumably you like. If I sell higher than I buy, I can afford to buy more, which I guess you would like too? I have never posted something opposite to the trading I was doing at the time. But I don’t post all the time as often not much to say and won’t give a running commentary on all my trades.

And one other thing Dave. Why do you and tymers have such a thing against those who trade any stock? Nobody who bought the share signed up to hold it forever. Trading helps the liquidity. They aren’t non believers. Just a different way of looking at the world.
