The wonderful thing about the economics of supply and demand is that if this all pans out, the price of copper will rise until the uneconomic deposits become economic, until the marginal mine makes a return on capital.
You would think that would benefit the low cost producers and those with large deposits disproportionately.
Trouble is that this is the long term solution to the copper market. Does Solgold have a long term future? Essentially that is the debate between Quady and his supporter(s) and others.
Personally I love copper, love the deposit, hate the management, and not exactly rushing about the country. There in lies the enigma that is Solgold.
