so you should be able to buy divide by 9 x by 5 + 36,660 = £4,399 giving you 102,660 for £33,439.
consolidate give you 6,844 new shares for £33,439 or £4.88 a share to break even.

I am with interactive and until one gets the a confirmed offer of 12p you cannot gamble and sell any current holdings but the way it's going it won't be worth selling at 13p ish to buy at 12p. So I might just let it go until after the consolidation and se if I can pick some up at £1.25 or so.

Yes that is the big question, How does a share price of £1.80 - £2.40 look against other well run and profitable companies. We all know that many consolidations fall back to what the city think it's worth and that could be £1.25 against say tui, aviva and many more. Many that bought in here a long time ago will have all lost thousands and have hi ave's of £5-£7 and see no sign of ever getting their money back. Sir Roger could have bought saga outright for say 33p but this way he gets it even cheaper in my view.

No I don't think you can and at this stage it could be that any / all allocations could be clawed back to less than your allocation as over subscribed. anything is possible at the moment.

That was my view otherwise whats the point in a vote if it's already a done deal.
Also what happens if many buy the 12p after selling say the same number at 15p and then the deal is not approved and the shares go back up to 30p double lose out.

There are far too many companies coming out with cash raisers and consolidations since covid all to steal the shares on the cheap from the pi's.
Lets' just get a good takeover offer that pays back the pi's for a change.

I like many thought we were going to get another rns today first thing about an offer, but I guess we have until 12.00 as a deadline according to the last rns.

So without Sir Riger voting on this deal which he shouldn't as he is not a shareholder until the deal is done, then there should be enough surport by the current shareholders to vote this down and await another takeover offer. It's only a question of time , and as saga themselves said that don't need the money yet so why the rush.

After all the shares coming out within the next few weeks, who to say these will not consolidate at 12p ie £1.80 and that could drop to £.145 ish so we might be better off waiting and buying after a few days/ weeks.

I think your right and we will get an ENS on Monday, in the last statement they said that if/ when any bidder pulls out they will NOT issue an RNS but it will be just a statement.
This looks like they are going by the rules and pre-waning us for a RNS which I guess will have a bid in it.
The big question is at what price. 45p-50p-60p or a bolt out of the blue at 35p. seat belts on.

Yes very funny rna about the total number of shares on issue, they normally do that at the start of each month but this is different in that it announces brokers etc.

Yes I think both of these large buys are to give free shares to the current CEO for pulling off this great shareholder deal. After all he must be given credit for this.

Yes I thought about selling now and buying back at 12p, the trouble is we haven't yet had confirmation of what we can buy or offered and will that be kept to or clawed back.
So I thought if I sold say 20,000 at 16p on the grounds that I would get another 20,000 at 12p fine but if I sold 20,000 and only got say 10,000 offered at 12p, lost out.
What price is this con going to be at, if the sp goes to 20p before the cond and we have sold at 16p lost out again. so many questions.

So is this why the sp is down?
