Look we all know this SP drop is down to the ftse being down almost 200 pointsand some fear setting in, let's just sit this one out for the week and then with luck get a few bids from 40p -60p

So The government hasn't got a clue and done everything wrong , so from someone that thinks he knows it all what would you do now ?
Let's not talk hindsight, come on what should we do Nothing and let people die? lockdown / part lockdown? put people like you in charge to do what. If you think you know any better and know what's going to happen tomorrow what's going to be the ITV sp in 4 days.

So how do you think this is going to play out?
What happens if they get a number of bids all different, will they just say no to the lower bids and put the higher bid to the shareholders, or do you think they will let the other bidders know what the top bid is / has been and can they / would like like to match or bid higher.
Or have they already been doing that until we get a top bid that no one wants to match.?

You still have a few days to decide, if the current sp goes to say 15p-16p and you have already had confirmation of your new shares you could sell the same amount from your current shares and then buy in the new ones. I haven't yet decided what to do and still trying to decide if it's not just more good money after bad.

But that's what happens with consolidations, it's a complte gamble as to what's going to happen.
I have liked any consolidations because they are not interested in the pi's at all it's all about the big shareholders. many on here hwill have ave's well about £4 - £5-£7 and when the new shares come out at what £1.80 - £2.50 yes how can they hold that price against many other good shares with profit and divi's. Many will never see their money again, but that's share dealing it's a gamble. So do you spend more money on these offer shares at 12p to bring down your ave but will they ever pay back ?

But remember they won't come out as 12p shares they will be added to any shares already held and consolidated by 15. So if you hold 10,000 and you buy say 5550 you will have approx 15,550 and then consolidated to approx 1,036 shares in your account on the 5 th Oct.

I wouldn't worry too much about these they are not 1 trades they are a number of trades throught out the day added together at the end of the day, loike squaring the books .Anyway I think LSE have had some problems because if you look at a number of other stocks many seem to have a large number of after close trades as well which seem not normal.

That is correct that if you take up the offer the shares will sit in your account until the vote goes through, only then will they be yours to sell on 5th Oct but thet will not be 12p shares because they will become consolidated at where price it goes live at which might be 15p x 15 so £2.25.

I don't think it says anywhere that the consolidated price will be 12p ie £1.80, surely it all depends on the day of 28th /29th/ 30th which could be 15p -16p-18p so £2-25 -£2.70.

Only a week to go to the deadline and still no one has pulled out that we know of.

But that's the side of the business that's losing money hand over fist, but tell the city that who are the ones driving this down.

OK so we have until the 25th to decide to buy and the vote is on the 2nd, So I guess we have the 28th 29th 30th to sell any current holding if the sp goes up in that time.

Carnival revealed on Thursday that all P&O sailings had been cancelled until early 2021.
So the business doesn't look good for Saga does it.

You don't have to decide now about your allocation you have until the 25th, it would be nice if the price goes up to 15p- 16p before then as you can sell the current shares and then buy your new allocation but with a sp of about 13p now what's the point. you just need to buy the new ones or wait until after the consonlidation when the sp might be less than what though?

I can't understand these brokers, how can they now give a price target of 31p when in 2 weeks ish there will be a consolidation and even at 12p the sp should be £1.80. Or do they think the sp should be 31p after the consolidation ?

Yes I think your right, if current shareholders do not take up their rights and D Han then buys up the rest no one can complain can they and he could end up with over 25-30%.
But you cannot blame anyone waiting and buying up at below 12p if the market drive the sp down.

I guess we won't know about the consolidation price until the vote on 2 nd Oct, but it could be 12p so £1.80 but the market price might go down to 10p by then and who knows what's going to happen.

Looks more like going to 36p today than going down.
It's very strange that if there are 3 /4 bidders we have herd nothing from anyone, does it mean that AA are playing one off against the other as we go or are they all still in talks and still decideing what to do.
One thing for sure is that no one as yet has pulled out, or have they and the bod's are just not telling anyone so all bidders think they are all still in the game. Clever games being played.
