I think the great thing about ABC holdings is that with almost 20% they will / should have a great say in any bid price / agreement and as they have been adding to their holding over the last few weeks they are not going to agree with anything under 40p and more like 50p-65p.

Any shareholder / company can make a takeover bid at any time for any company regardless of the % they hold . But the rules state that if a current shareholder once holds 30% they must then make a takeover offer.

I don't think you live in the real world, why would anyone who holds 10% ish aat what 13p take an offer of 3p or less and once it was know a bidder out there the sp would rocket.
Simple if a company is about to go bust like Deb or Thomas cook since you are so happy to mention it but someone offers you 2.5p -3p wouldn't you jump at it.
The same could be about to happen to vog but you will not see it. Also deals are being done without shareholders knowing about it all the time with other companies, just look at PMO yesterday, shareholders don't always get the chance to know or vote on these things, just like they didn't on the last cash raise that vog did and it was only afterward that the shareholders knew about it. Take your blinkers off and see the light.

With many / most takeover offers for companies bidders put in an offer and once it get agreed they normally have 2/3 months to do and complete all the DD work. So maybe this time they are doing / done all that work before hand, so Im guessing they must have agreed in principle a good price because to drop out now must have already cost millions on both sides.

Just why would anyone merge with vog, they now only have a MC of £6m so could be bought outright for 3p or less to take on debt say 2.5p.

Yes it looks like 19% now, so zthis must be the highest so far.
That could be why the mm keep dropping the sp so ABC can get hold of more stock.
It could be that ABC hold enough stock to launch their own bid if they are not happy with any other bid that might come soon.

That would be great news if they did pay £100m so about £50m each partner, now would PFD pay off another £40m -£50m of debt. ?

Many on here keep saying this is a great buy in and when things get back to normal the sp will be double etc.
But we have to remember the debt level is so high and with the business now shut down for months they may never pull themselves out of this and go under. It's now a very big gamble.

Interesting why / how do you come up with low 20's?
We have to remember that AA dO NOT need to sell, they have just had a great rns on results showing they are making good ptofits and bringing down debt all be it slowly and they don't need to repay any bonds until 2021/2022. If they get any offer of below 40p they will / should justy reject it and my guess would be that both sides must have agreed in principle a price range for any talks / DD to continue as they are. I myself am stil thinking 50p-60p range but we will find out soon.

So I guess they will hold this at about 12p until the 12th to stop anyone selling and making a profit on there rights.

I think you will find it's 10 for every 3 you hold, so 5750 by 3 = 1916 x 10 = 19,166 at the new cost.
Add that to your current cost Is it worth doing, it's down to you only.
Who knows what they will end up trading at, but these things never turn out well for us pi's.

Must be that after this issue there will be what about 6 bln shares on issue, normally on a deal like this the company would have a consolidation at the same time but with the sp at about £1 how can they consolidate by say 10 giving the sp a price of about £10 and that would never attract anyone in the city.
So there must be a plan by RR. and the city to wait until the sp drops to say 50p and then consolidate. Any ideas?

Ism't that number 2,093,921,536 before consolidation ? now I wonder just how long it will be before Sir Roger goes for the 30% and full bid, after all from his point I guess he can say who else is interested as they never took up all their shares.
