Going by the wording in the rns's , do you not think they have already been talking about a certain price that they have /going / thinking of offering and said we cannot match that and as such pulled out. the rns's do say they are pulling out because another bidder is outting in a firm bid.
So all the work has been done and we await the bid. So are they going to tell us in the results rns or before.?

Yes it also means they can but in the meantime and going by the rules stated they cannot give away any details of the bids etc until after any formal bid is announced by others.

That has caught a few out today and will we see the sp back upto or passed 40p today.

Yes another pulls out for the same reason which must mean we have i bidder that is about to make an offer in agreement with AA board. So what is it and when will we get it?

I guess there's always the chance that this deal will not be voted through but it must be 95% adds on by now , and if there was going to be another takeover offer it would have to be withing the next few days.
So yes once this is all voted through and certain going ahead I think the sp will rise 15p- +.

Out of interest can I ask what age are you, 20-30 ,30-40 ?

I have given in and taken up my shares today, I know we might be able to buy these on the market at just under the 12p mark but by the time you add commision and SD you might as well take the offer.
We still have this week and 3 days next week to sell some of our original shares if the sp goes back up before the cut off date. Anyway lifes a gamble.

Just watched the up-date and most of the talks was more about being careful and what to do to stop the covid getting any worse, so NO total lockdown yet. which must be good news and maybe we will see the ftse come back a bit.

I must say that on a positive note we still have been told of anyone pulling out of the talks with only a few days to go.

If I am not mistaken Sweden and the people have been following the guidelines but not they are seeing the death rate rise, where as a lot of the british people haven't followed the rules so much.
But that is your view in hindsight, tell us / suggest us something you would now do since you know what's best.

Even though the ftse is down what about 200 point can this go down any more it's already at rock bottom, but there could be a big bounce once the market picks up.
