That aside, the basic concept is the same. The CEO should know the details of the review, the timeframe, the cost, the resources etc. This should have been clearly understood and communicated.

Did you listen to the WG results via video link? Obviously not. WG had and has no clue.

Maybe you think the CEO has handled the review well? If that's the case, you are clearly in the minority, as evidenced by the 60% drop in the WG share price on the day of the RNS and WG video link the same day. No further updates, just silence from the CEO who is red faced and sulking in the corner of the office. No sign of recovery in the WG share price. Enough said.

Me thinks: I need a new patio installed at the back of my house, as the previous patio was very badly installed by my previous builder. I know, I'll ask an experienced builder who is a specialist...

The new builder takes a quick look and says to me: 'Hmmm, a new patio to replace the old patio. Well, OK yes we can do that. Mind you, I don't know how long it will take, and I don't know how much it will cost.'

Me: 'Sounds great. Where do I sign, and when can you start?'

That in a nutshell, is what the CEO has agreed with his 'Deloitte review'...

@TheCrowman. Given the possible/probable Hezbollah-Israel ceasefire - and in the absence of major macro international economic news/impacts - there may be more positive sentiment for stocks on Wednesday (WG included). Then again, it is hump-day!

Be careful @TheCrowman...speaking from my own experience: Evanescent will not believe you when you say you hold 275k in WG shares, he will think/say you're making it up - especially as you've expressed your disatisfaction about the WG share price. To avoid any such criticism @TheCrowman, you have to ramp the WG share price at all times...didn't you know that...? Lol

@Trenners Actus is the short easily identified, as the flea who rides on the back of another flea on an accountant's brown caridgan. These shorts really have no idea. I hope they hang about for Capita's pre-close update on 17 December, and Capita's results in mid March. I love to watch shorts get squeezed. It's my favourite pastime.

@Pokerchips. While that has some merit - its still based on sentiment as that is what sets the algos i.e. stop prices, high low etc. For me traders/investment bankers are not always right, far from it. For example, how well has the investment company abrdn done over recent years?

I never follow the traders, I try to be well in front of them, and it's served me very well over the years. I take the Warren Buffet approach when I invest - all I am interested in is whether or not the company is undervalued based on a number of KPIs, competitive factors, markets etc. and that the upside is significant. I see that with Prudential Plc which is why I am invested.

It's OK Pokerchips if we have different approaches to our investments, each to their own. Enjoy.

...a bit like your arguments. I have a question for you - IF you are a WG investor, what is your current price and total investment?

The fact is that I am invested in WG at 52p and to the tune of £90,000. I don't care whether you believe me or not. I deal in facts. The fact is that Laura2022 predicted 58p today - she is a super-ramper and talks rubbish. The fact is the WG share price finished at .5505p down 4.76% for the day. The fact is that WG will continue to tread water until the one of the three points (a, b, or c) I made on one of my earlier posts here comes to pass.

As a passive-aggressive WG ramper, you clearly have your head buried in the sand. Bet hey, keep your fingers and toes crossed, and keep ramping and maybe, just maybe the WG share price will rise...yeah right. Good luck with that!

I would like the WG share price to rise, but I am a realist. I call it as it is.

Do you really think that if you or anyone else starts ramping or de-ramping on this WG discussion board, that you actually affect the WG share price? Get real. Sorry to have break it to you, but whether you ramp or de-ramp on this discussion board, it makes no difference to the WG share price at all. So keep it real, and stop dreaming.

@Godfearer. I was reading and waiting for the punchline...it never came. What you have described probably happens in over 50% of retail businesses in one way or another. Take your complaint to the customer services dept.

I have followed Halford's for a while now. I must admit I only invested into Halfords on Thursday last week...too cheap to ignore and all that. The management has done a sound job, and the Christmas trading peak period is still to come. Plenty to play for yet. IMO

@Finley1 Yes I am committed to Prudential for the long term...usually I'd be waiting for Asian economies to pick up. However, Prudential has strong revenues and profits, which is likely to continue - so I am very happy to hold and add on the dips.

Looks like Laura2022 spends more time looking at her green filtered posts that her unfiltered posts. Lol

@Evanescent - Incorrect. I do not 'de-ramp' at every post. I am invested in WG at 52p. I call it as I see it. You may not agree (head buried in sand) but the fact is that WG is somewhat of a gamble and the review is an unknown factor (obviously). So roll, up roll up and place your bets...

@Finley1 While the Prudential share price (down 1.8% as of the time of this post) has dipped lower today (in line with the majority of the market today), the Burbury share price (up 2% as of the time of this post) continues to surge... Both Asian based companies - funny that.

@EllllteIinv Better to wait for a proper drop to around 52p-54p before you could call it a 'cheeky' top up IMO. With the level of risk, better to buy lower, so if the review is as bad as expected then your fingers won't be as badly burnt. Risk-reward ratio and all that.

Er OK Pokerchips. I always thought that any company share price moves based upon investor/trade sentiment at any given point in time...but hey what would I know? Lol
