Well, well Aimless you chicken - you followed the advice of the Capita shorts and sold out of Capita. You followed the shorts' trail of stale breadcrumbs to the chicken pen to await your fate. You should have listened to JO and stayed invested.

When the Capita results are out, the share price will soar. Do you want a 'sneek preview'? Take a look at Halford's results today... Does it look familiar? Revenue down slightly, margins up, profit stable, debt down... Hmmm, doesn't that sound like Capita's report card, which is about to be announced? Of course it does! What happened to Halford's share price immediately after their results today? It has climbed up and is currently up over 14% today as at the time of this post! Honestly, none of this is rocket science. It's a license to print money...

Roll up, roll up buy your Capita shares now BEFORE the Capita results are in. Remember you heard it from JO first! (Although when it all comes to pass, I'm quite sure JO will receieve no credit for his insights...)

The Wood Group share price never fails to amuse...now a dramatic swing up to 57.5p (up .49% today at the time of this post). The swings are dramatic - however, it is still a gamble. If the CEO could provide more clarrity around the review and timliness thereof, it would help stakeholders and shareholders alike.

Laura2022's post at 56.39am today: 'Today, maybe even open up above 58p'

She really has no idea - just a ramper deep under water, and when she breaks even she'll sell out and run for the hills...looking under rocks and stones for the next stock to invest in and ramp up.

The fact is at the moment Wood Group's share price cannot push through 57p sustainably and currently the share price is slip, sliding away (down 2.68% today at the time of this post). Investor confidence is down in Wood Group and there does not appear to be any sort of recovery in sight. The CEO is incompetent and treats 'normal' shareholders with contempt. The review is unknown - it could be 'OK' or it could be a disaster. In summary, if you don't have the spare cash to gamble (and it is a gamble) in Wood Group - then my advice is to look for a far more stable and sound company to invest in. Simple.

@Pokerchips - Prudential is down along with most of the stocks around the world... almost my entire watchlist is a sea of red. Halfords is one of the few exceptions (up over 9%) after its results update today. European stocks all red.

HelloDave careful now, you better agree with Laura2022 - otherwise seh has you in her sights and her finger is hovering over the green filter button! Lol

Aimless enought about ChumpCoin are you in or out of Caapita at the moment?

I know Aimless listens to my views on Capita...he may not take my advice (to his detriment), but at least he listens...

I think Aimless must have listened to the shorts inside his own head and sold out of Capita on Friday. As Vivian (aka Jilia Roberts) from Pretty Woman would say 'Big mistake...huge!'

WG share price now .5755p...question is will there be a pull back?

@Finley Burbury is on my watch list out of 'interest only' now. I noticed Burbury when it was sold off to silly lows of £5.90 to £6.00. However, I did not invest as I did not know too much about it at the time. I didn't have time to research it properly. However, my wife said it was quite good - luxury brand fanous for scarves, coats etc. I should have taken the punt with £50,000 but didn't. As Vivian (Julia Roberts) in the movie Pretty Woman would say..."Big mistake...huge!". What did I learn? If in doubt listen to wifey! Lol

The Capita shorts are in the corner sulking... Lol

Pokerchips you should have made your comment about Burbury Group as a pre-amble when you posted that Prudential Plc rise was due soley to US Asia currency fluctuations. I pointed out the flaw in your statement with one quick and easy example that Burbury is down while Prudential is up - and they are BOTH heavily in the Asian markets.

I predict Prudential will continue to climb this week and into February 2025, due to the reasons I mentioned earlier. The fact is that US-Asia currency fluctuations chop and change all the time and has a negligible impact on the Prudential share price, or Burbury Groups for that matter (Burbury Group has enjoyed a rather nice share price rise of late (despite the US-Asia currency fluctuations - funny that).

@Broomtree. You do not need to be invested in Capita or anywhere else in order to make a comment on the discussion board. All posts are valid...some more than others.

@Trenners. Very wise move.

@Aimless. You're very quiet Aimless one...are you still in Capita and free to range, or did you follow the shorts' chicken feed crumbs back to the chicken pen? Hoefullt you listened to JO...this time. Capita up 2.54% as of the time of this post. Next stop 18-19p before push through to 21-22p level on the back of Capita results. Have faith Aimless...

@Jxp101. I didn't slate you. I thought you'd be proven right. If I mentioned on this WG discussion board all that I know, I too would be slated. Sometimes it's best to be in the know, and not mention it. Simply not worth it.

Good to see the CEO has made an announcement...of sorts... Lol

Meanwhile Wood Group share price on the up once more (up 4.62% today as of this post).
