The only thing I can think of is that they’re very thinly traded on a small float and without news of contract wins etc they’ve just gone into drift mode. Had a holding here for years and added last year plus beginning of this year to average down and resigned to sitting it out until things improve and who knows one day they might pay divs again!
Anything to do with O&G seems out of favour currently but the fact remains their equipment/IP should be right on the money particularly the leakproof aspect(which is what caught my attention initially) and just hopeful that they pick up more business as we emerge from Covid and that’s reflected in the SP at some point sooner than later.
At the height of the pandemic I noted they had a go at ventilators,not sure what came of that but the fact they’re innovative bodes well for application to the changing energy market I’d have thought?

Hi there, I think you’re right,smaller fund and under the radar. Surprised we didn’t see a jump on today’s update as div up,directors buying modestly and looks like a solid set of results. Reminds me of my RGL which have shot up after a similar update. Others I hold like BCPT,SLI,SREI,AEWU,AIRE etc in this diversified property sector seem to have had a decent rise of late whereas all that’s happened here is the spread narrowing! I have added a few more recently and today mainly for the monthly div which apart from the obvious irons out the ex-div drops and similarly to BCPT on income,you hardly notice they’ve gone ex till the div arrives!! Evening all,hope everyone doing okay in this snakes and ladders market?! Been consolidating a few holdings and chasing divs in between settling in the new hens etc. I think the last time I popped by I was wondering if it’ll ever rain again,now quite the reverse!

Added more this morning and surprised where they ended up. Markets always over-react to good/bad news. Hold BT too but see them as recovery whereas I see VOD as more of a ‘utility’ share, massive cash flow just needs tweaks to get it working properly. Future...outside the box, mobile telecoms,internet etc is growth and fixed line has a future but on a recent house move and I’m not alone in this opinion, I deliberated whether to have a landline and wouldn’t have bothered had it not been for broadband. Eye popping debt is something is in the real world would lose sleep over but look at NG etc and don’t lose sleep IMO. Will add more if they drop more probably. GLA

Like coal then, I remember foolishly lifting them around because I couldn’t be bothered to get the sack truck! Had a hernia op a few years ago and although easier than the old days still a lengthy recovery before fully operational in my experience. We had some 7. something blocks the other day and when I enquired they were 19 kg each which gets quite heavy after the first few(even heavier if you’re my girlfriend lol). For some reason cement bags always seem heavier than any bags of stuff....and I haven’t even started on the slabs,have a load of 3x2 and 2.5 x2 in old money and they’re quite nasty but once they’re down on a decent base quite satisfying IMO!!
On plexus I’m just thinking they’ll come good at some point, they had a go at helping with ventilators last year and like all shares we try to convince ourselves we’ll make money on them after we’ve bought them....then try and convince ourselves we’ve bagged a bargain when we average down lol

They’re listed here too but have a withholding tax which hits hard unless you sign the forms. They’re a hybrid from us lot anyway, shame they didn’t start driving on the proper side of the road and their spelling certainly needs some attention lol

Cement an interesting one, I keep a load of bags in a barn in the 25 kilo plastic bags and every so often I rotate them so they don’t go out of date and the older I get the heavier they are to move lol

Beyond all the hype I think Bp is quite forward thinking like taking the ‘British’out of the name, having a yank in charge after the spill and the Bp energy name they promote. Shell I like as they bought the BG assets after the split with NG/CNA/BG from the original....mind you centrica is a share few longterm holders are happy with lol

I’ve got a load of shell B too but since I started buying when they ‘dipped’ under 20 I’m still somewhat offside and Bp pay a bigger div. Also hold a lot of dgoc which thankfully I got right on timing and they pay a massive quarterly but you have to fill in a tax form or you get hammered on it as yank shares or something. Otherwise my oils aside from a handful of tiddlers is services like wood group which is part legacy from the Amec foster wheeler thing. Have had htg a few times but sold after the recent rise.

Glad to hear it. Saw an advert on tv the other night with them banging on about new energy so that’s reassuring too,mind you my poorly plexus shares mentioned the ‘H’ word ages back and have yet to deliver anything beyond a big paper loss and no dividend aaaarghhhh!

Well there’s plenty of room for battery improvement before I look at it....the only things I rely on battery power for are the drill/driver ensemble and the iPhone and they’re a constant job keeping charged up so the thought of driving somewhere thinking ‘how far am I going to get’ is something I could do without!!
We’ve had a cracking dry spell so have been using up my aggregates and cement stocks like mad....boots in varying stages of muddiness all in their sections lol!!

Afternoon all,hope everyone doing okay? Rained off from my usual activities today. Bank holidays so irritating when you can’t check the shares! Of late been adding Bp and a few other bits and pieces,took a few profits on rank and some of the other bombed out stuff whilst sitting on some chunky losses on petrofac,hammerson etc...the joys of owning shares pre-pandemic!! Trees growing well and chicken house nearly finished. Picked up an interesting quote on the future of oil off the Internet...with everyone apparently buying electric cars....I only know one person who’s had one and got shot of it as fed up with having to charge it all the time!

Depends on the job really, I tend to shorten and refer to it as a saw as use it a lot on the land.
That looks like a quality piece nom. My favourite tool is a bulldog spade which belonged to my late father, hard to find modern kit with that longevity in this throw away society we find ourselves in!

I must admit the saw is tool to respect and being slightly fearful of it isn’t a bad thing. A friend of mine uses his wrapped up in all the kit and thinks he can swing it around, like using the 12 with a light trigger...equally bad idea!

Last time I did that was a long rope pulling out side shoots on a slope in the landie and the ‘twang factor’ was very interesting when they released so to speak! Next time I did it had someone and some sacking at the extraction point so it didn’t fly through the air and nearly take out the rear windscreen!!

They’re sometimes referred to as multi-tools or pole saws , I’ve got one with a baby chainsaw,hedge trimmer and strimmer.

Mick I normally smash my way in with a decent fork and loppers and wear an old leather jacket as it’s the only thing I’ve got that the thorns don’t penetrate...or have used the extendable petrol hedge trimmer and raked up after on the brambles.
Wassatt has a wooded area at my place and always say hi when passing on the mower.
The birds and wildlife must be more resilient than we think as they don’t ‘suit up’ in the hawthorns etc!!

That’s preferable to gagging on a thin stick then!
I remember the last time we went to a pub/restaurant they had a heat camera at the door which showed the images on a screen which seemed like a simple way to see if people might have something covidy but I thought at the time the best way to avoid getting it is not going there in the first place!!
