Anyway IF sales and IF SB a TR1 would be required in next few days as the known 6.2% would fall to just under 6%

Did SB not post; not long after the placing he would look to offload some shares after the the sp settled above 2p

MM had a couple of sale orders to get away today so collected low and filled the orders. They are flat now so will only be interested in collecting more sub 2.4

Joebop LB28. GGP could make a consolidation of 15 shares into 1 and at today’s prices would be same SP as SOLG and on that ratio could make our market size 20k as well. We would only have circa 215 m shares in issue so market cap would still be the same.

There was also a level of selling, almost equal to the level of buying.

LB28, have never witnessed this in any MM where I have worked. Perhaps it is the modern polite way now. Short MM sends a code to the others which basically means ...Excuse me chaps I am on the wrong side of the market, could you all drop your prices so I can hoover up cheaper shares and repair my book P&L. They are not charities to each other.

Floor is open to anyone who can offer an explanation to explain why on God’s Earth any Matket Maker who believes they have knowledge the SP should/will move in a significant direction, would signal this in advance to other MM s and the market in general, thereby losing all competitiveness in making money for their firms trading book. Jeez.

The RNS has only stated it’s a block request, that becomes effective on 18 January. So the question for GGP is, what prompted the application for the block request, if they had conversion requests now and up to the 18th Jan, will they let the market know or will that only be news available in 6 months time when nobody will care?
I would like to think any conversations as at 18 th will be announced.

They had 12 months to convert so there should be no rush. Could easily have waited until after the results, so no risk. Niggles me that they , the placees, could expect this to fall back on results so selling/forward selling to capitalise now. Cynical I know, but always consider the downside, even if it’s short term.

This gives them the chance to crystallise a profit by selling / slicing before the results are out. We will find out in 6 months if I am correct.

Yorkshire et all. You are all barking —up the wrong tree here. MMs operate under LSE / FCA rules for transaction reporting. There is no conspiracy between them on pricing as each Make their own judgment on pricing a company’s value, level of and positions, if any they want to take.

How does that make the book P&L look better at close, unless you are a MM shorting

There is about 3 scenarios for the reason why one good, one not so good and the 3rd just the MMs churning round stock for profit on the back of expected news and Prim buying. Prim have an abysmal record of investment choices by the way. I care not a jot however, just awaiting the next piece of news.

No one is building for a T/O at this rate it would take several months to get the shares they need and by then the true value would likely be multiplied. If any t/o materialises we will wake up one morning to the news.
