Truly NOT bad news

From someone who is not a mining expert, I do understand how the SP movement since the last RNS. I also understand that like me, most on here are not mining experts and even some of those who are experts get carried away with posts on JVs Takeovers potential values etc.
So, when the RNS rocks up which does not jump out to meet expectations ie same or higher grades there will bound to be a drop for obvious reasons.
The drop though was not that severe, so truly was bad news. What have we learned since then?
1. There has been buys this week on approx a 5 v 1 sale basis so plenty of PI s buying back if caught out on stop losses and new investors coming in.
2. The last RNS was just another step in the journey and at best rubber stamped what was already approx priced in.
3. Most interestingly the journey continues with potential
I fully expect the MM s to slowly push the SP to a new high by the time the next RNS can be expected

Yes per my post yesterday MM s are out of stock and not taking the SP down. Very good sign IMO

Even with the odd misreported trades the buys in the last couple of days by far outweigh the sales. I have posted before to those who question where the shares come from and estimated the MM s between them were carrying about 2 to 3 hundred million shares.
NOW, if these have all been taken off their books and the appetite for more shares continues then true market forces will now come into play as regards the SP.
Only caveat to that would be if the MM s start to take short positions, drive SP lower until next news. Pretty sure though they must be low on stock now.

Kempey, what many PIs fail to undestand is that a few MMs already would be carrying share positions no doubt at cost to book well under 2p.
Until today their book would reflect unrealised profit. As a result of the extra buys their books will now show more realised profit.
So now they will start again to protect the unrealised profit on whatever they still carry and aim for profit on each and every trade they turn round from now on,

As far as I know SOLG have never had more shares in issue currently they only have a third of what GGP have.

RTC in the context of any exercised warrants RNS, even if you got one for every individual execution, technically this does not tell you who is bailing out, if anything it is an indication of bailing in.

DDH1 would no doubt need to have entered the deal wiith GGP having first obtained the blessing from the parent Co.

My last post on the subject as did not like the OTHERWISE implication of a placee selling, WITHOUT putting any sale into context.
If any of us took 30m shares in a placing at 2.25 and on a 1 for 1 basis 30m options at a cost of 2p then I for one when the SP was touching 2.50 would seriously consider hedging ahead of results in exercising my warrants and maybe selling some or all of the resulting shares. But not touching my shares from the placing.

Just about right as some will no doubt convert before 3p and it saves a regular raft of RNS telling us so. Just be happy for the placees who supported the company at 1.25 to lock in some profit. Once this is out of the way in the next few days focus remains firmly on the results to come,

No, convert means convert your warrant to a new share issued at 2p.
Buy is to purchase an existing share in the market. Slight difference I know but a difference nonetheless

Just to be clear the warrants can be exercised at any time over the 12 months AT 2p. NOT at the previous 5 day average.
The 5 days mentioned is if the SP hits 5 consecutive days OVER 3p during the 12 months then the company can give notice to the placees to convert witn days or lose them

Agree Wanabe. Anyone who thinks some of the warrants have not been exercised is blinkered. Also, given the placees had 12 months to exercise or the 5 days at 3p could kick in, the only reason for exercising now is they are at least contemplating to sell/slice a preserve profits. GGP did not apply for block listing on a whim.
All this is totally expected as is the SP movement as MM s look to get any placees shares into the market without panicking PI s and of course at a small return for themselves. This has no bearing on potential good news so folks should relax.

Newtothisgame2. Re your question about where could the shares come from. The answer is at least one but probably more of the MM s who make a price in GGP will be carrying a long position in the stock. If they have to dip into their position to fill orders they will do so. You only need to look at the list of major shareholders to see there is a fair percentage of the issued shares which must be in the MM s hands and is exempt from reporting for obvious reasons.
