Rosneft has been a very good investment, there's no doubt about it. Considering we have bought back 52.5 million shares over the past three days alone I'm rather surprised we've been unable to break out and sustain any meaningful uift from the 410 barrier we've been languishing at for some time now. Let's see what happens at 2.30 when stateside awakes from slumber

Folks, Why are we even having a debate about £10 share price., Its pure fantasy, like a mirage in the desert, welcome but not attainable. I can be convinced that we may achieve £5, possibly even this year, but given that we are struggling to stay significantly north of £4 at the present time, the dividend is not going to be meaningfully uplifted from the pitiful current level anytime soon there isn't a hope in hell of achieving £10

In my opinion simply because the dividend has not been increased despite record profits which is shambolic

Yes he did say 4% yearly so it will take over 12 years to get back to where we were before the massive cut in dividend

All in all, a very sound and positive set of results, rounding off a really transforming year for BP. Shame there wasn't a sweetener in dividend to appease us poor shareholders but looking good for 2022

Hi Meoryou., That's a very interesting question and my opinion is that the debt has been amortised over several years up till 2033 so the actual amount paid in each year is the total liability (debt) in that fiscal year. That would be more tax efficient also in my opinion.

Hi Thronegames Bumble has already referred you to bp website for the payment schedule., as far as the sp is concerned it has no impact now as this debt was factored in long ago and the share price has been much higher than it is now since then.

We are paying down roughly 1.2 billion dollars every year until 2033

We still owe billions and will be paying this off until 2030 I believe

Hi Jamtart., I do accept that we will always have those who will not try to better themselves or try to improve their situation, and I fully understand the frustration of lack of respect from some tenants who willfully neglect landlords property. Regards
