Stifel are advising on the process, with BMO, and recently tipped us as a buy with target price of 35p. May be a clue there.

Results on 30th July so news of special divi, if there is one. Hope so.

Virgin Money was a fine brand and they have sat on it for a good while. The CEO is an expert on jargon but let's see some results, not just fine words.

Just got a notification from my bank. Seems totally unclear and a lottery as to what price, unless they publish a strike price. I'll either sell before or after this mess as I think the rump of the Company is being mismanaged and going nowhere.

I hope so. A couple of people reported him for abuse on Sunday. We'll know when his ban expires !

I was at the AGM yesterday. It was referred to as more news on this around July time. This is the second time they have done a special dividend. So much better than buybacks imo.

Not a lot we didn't know so I hope the analysts can winkle out more. As I said yesterday, more 'jam tomorrow". But tomorrow never comes with this share. I'm beginning to lose hope of any decent return from my average of 70p.

My reading of the DNO statement is that they are taken aback by this change tb the asset mix. They may well walk away as they have no wish to pay a decent premium. That's fine by me. Our Board have had plenty of time to prepare their strategic moves aka defence and this is a good one. There may be more. Only my opinion, of course.

I have no doubt that they have 'allies' accumulating shares who will accept their offer, when it comes. Nominating directors is a classic tactic.
