Er No. They have to protect their existing investment or rather ensure it doesn't get worse. IMO

I am very reluctant to take up the rights. If the future post RI is going to be so good then my existing shsres will increase. Let the institutions stump up, I say.

Yes, we have to live with this. The Government seems to want to reduce cases to zero which is impossible . Utter change from the initial goal. We need to be realists and get on with it.

Zama will be unsaleable until the unitisation process is complete in January 2021 or earlier if all can reach an agreement with Pemex. No one will know the value of our share. And we're still talking up the value of our other blocks...hmm.

This is a shambles. Yet again we are done over by the lenders. A company run by rwo accountants as well. The webcast will be interesting, to say the least. I have often said jam tomorrow. Now.....cheap marge,,if we're lucky.

I emailed the company yesterday about my concerns and have just had a reply. Re cancellation of the dividend, just blah blah. Re not using the furlough scheme, they said that that as many staff stayed at work the benefit would not have been great. More importantly imv they say that not using the scheme left them more freedom on the dividend front in future. I have asked that my concerns about the dividend be relayed to the Board. I encourage others to do the same......

Yes, it's a gem of a share. Oddly, HSBC told me some time ago that I could sell my holding, previously bought through them, but no longer buy any. So, I went off to Halifax Share Dealing to buy more. Can't go wrong if you want a decent yield.

Re fund raising, my point was that it might not need an RI or placing, just short term debt, rapidly paid back by sale of Solan oil. That's all. .Just an alternative view, not anathema.
