Morning Vas . SMS RNS yesterday confirming purchase order for 200000 more meters as I posted yesterday. Looks like they also have an agnostic solution to monitor the meters as well should they be smets1 or smets 2.
Thought we were led to believe CC were the only ones to have a solution for this ?? I have suggested in the past there were other players.

Morning CB. You only need to read the way the words in the RNS are written to see if it's positive or negative. CC are always careful with the wording and the RNS rarely contains anything other than possibly, maybe , we expect etc etc. I've said before you can read these like s one page pamphlet. As an aside RNS this morning confirming a real order by Smart Metering Systems for the UK.

Hi Analysister. Have to say I agree they are weak. Aviva is like a supertanker being sailed by Lord Nelson with a second eyepatch. I am in long-term for the dividends ( a potential cut does concern me) so the day to day share price doesn't worry me too much. What does concerns me more is the apparent incompetence of the board who thought it a good idea to do a share buyback at over £5! The board must have been the only ones who hadn't heard of Brexit and the undoubted impact on the markets. Worse still they are paying some advisors Megabucks too advise on this! Be interesting to be a spectator at the AGM this year!

To be clear " bad news" can be anything. Yes they would have to release any such news. What about anything in the end of year results , potential dividend cuts etc? Why are we paying the CEO that was removed ridiculous amounts of cash to do what?? How many physical hours is he working for the cash and what value is be adding? Remember a number of senior execs are cut supposed to be picking up the reins........or am I mistaken?

Morning Vas absolutely agree. Last Feb I posted the following regarding the "orders".

"Tony , they cannot flaunt anything because there is nothing to flaunt. As I said a while back , how "secure" are these orders ? CC should make this clear, if they are open ended and can be cancelled by the customer if they wish they could be worthless. My concern is the share price is where it is , due to no news and it appears very little income. Before you suggest I am negatively knocking the company and pushing down the share price , I think it was BST who summed things up extremely well a week or so back explaining why we are where we are."

In reality CC are no further forward despite what they are saying. The same line and rationale regarding how the company is developing and growing has been the same for years. I just find it amazing some can defend things. Those that defend the current standing of CC need go back and read the RNSs over the last three years as I did it may give them a reality check.

Some have been sensible enough to get out of this car crash, but as the old saying goes.....a fool and his money etc etc.

Whoever the new CEO may be,he or she will in my view not be in place until after the results. Why do you think Mark Wilson is retained on a 6 month " consultancy" basis.? In my view it is to release any bad news on his and the other directors watch. Why would be care about any flak with the obscene amounts he is getting paid? On the other hand the new CEO us not tarred with any of the failures. Sticks and stones may break my bones but lots of cash will ease the pain! Simples.

I think you have summed it up Tony. Just remember a specialist knows what hes doing and expert thinks he knows what he's doing!
We've had two significant jumps in the share price recently followed by quickly significant drops......I wonder how many more got sucked in? Remember talk is cheap but money buys houses pity CC has all the chat.

Unfortunately this golden goose does not lay the golden egg The only thing likely to crush you from this goose is not go!den in colour but smells a bit lol.

Tony. Not true, on more than one occasion I have provided evidence other companies do offer an alternative. Today no other companies have an alternative is misleading.

No idea re your question Tony. I did read somewhere there is around a 60% mark up on their chips though. Regards JC he has also been in India a long time and look what happened there. He's been saying for years India is the golden goose!

Ok here is my prediction. CC just done a deal with China, China backward engineers the product, produced it cheaper and sells to India and everywhere else that wants it down the line. Some won't give a to55 about security. China has been doing this with technology for years. Let's just see how close I am ........

Hi Tony. So it now looks like Q1\Q2 2019? What happened to the company changing news by the year end? The fact they appear to have rushed through the China order and tried to include the revenue this year even though CC have not been paid for anything as yet should tell you all you need to know.
Good spot re Mr Hutton ITT, if as appears they can't get something that simple correct what hope is there? Hopefully they will clarify if they have made a mistake. Have a great Xmas everyone.
