But how many more will be sucked/ locked in again........? Companies have lots of "partnership/distribution deals with companies. It a sales tactic. This company appears to have more partners than CC!

Letting the current bunch run things is like giving a monkey a gun. Incompetence in the extreme ,the only surprise is why the larger shareholders are not asking serious questions. How on earth these people justify their salary is beyond me. Are they not supposec to be paid " performance " bonuses! That being the case they should be paying the company money !

I wonder if the losers have won any contracts? Every industry throws these awards around. Usually you pay a highly inflated prices for a conference stand and hey presto........talk is cheap, orders and cash move the share price

Morning AAS. I'm in similar position. why would you not expect Aviva to be a growth stock like other insurers? Put simply if the share price shows zero growth the company is not growing as a whole o the dividend needs to be stay the same at best of more than likely reduced due to inflationary business costs. The price reduces roughly by the dividend payout .
Clearly depends when you buy but if you buy at £5 get s 10% return and the share price drops by 20% you are 10% down per share simplistic I know but that's the bigger picture. Regards Aviva going bust I think the same was said of the banks! Lol. Have a good weekend.

At £2.40 and the return I am getting with AV and others I make a nice amount of money. I would however have liked to see some growth as with !my other shares bought around the same time and market conditions. That was my point!

Avive share price usually always followed the FTSE. Since Mark Wilson arrived the share price is up around 25% against around 61% for the sector The FTSE 100, and has fallen 17 percent since the Friend's Life deal, whereas the insurance sector has slipped around 7 percent. Value for money based on the huge salary and bonuses???? Take a look at the share price against the FTSE compared to other insurers on an annual basis since he joined.

Hi Alatsea.i hold all three. Average AV £2.40. Per share.

My share average shsre price is well above the current price. I bought over the six months after the crash. my average therefore has no bearing on my thoughts. I posted figures a while back that clearly demonstrates management underperformance compared to its peers. The growth in SP is more due to the market turnaround as those figures demonstrate not the BOD. Part of the issue here is lack of action
and succession planning by those that remain.

Are you serious? Not sure how your average and dealing are relevant. My average is far below the current share price , the fact remains this has performed way below its peers and that is down to the BOD.

Just general markets I guess today. LGEN and PRU haven't fallen 20% in the last few months though ,that's the subtle difference!

The word you are looking for is incompetence. Unbelievable considering how much they get paid. I can only assume the BOD will also be taking a 20% plus cut in salaries and bonuses????
In my opinion the best long term hope is a takeover or merger with one of our more successful competitor's. AIMHO.

Have to agree Colour. Just checked the website and their security offering. As an SME not that impressed........enough said.
