Hi Tony . Once or twice a week in my book is occasionally. The reality is simple who in their right mind is going to pay £5 a share?? You cannot compare CC to ARM in any way. Different market, different market conditions. If CC had a product as good as you think they would have moved on long ago, and no I'm not too young to have followed ARM (unfortunately or fortunately! ) Depending on how you look at it. The fact is it the product is that good the big boys will get it at rock bottom price, and the losers will definitely be the PIs. you can bet that anyone higher up the chain will be the only winners.
The share price could jump as it did a few weeks back, suck some more in then fall back to where it started and tie In a few more.
Even if CC have the best software out there now I can guarantee that will change in the future. Despite what JC leads you to believe they will still need to spend money with ongoing software development, anyone that has ever been involved in software development knows that's the case. Imagine if Microsoft stopped at the original version of Windows.

I seriously wonder if some of the comments posted on here are just to wind people up. I do not think I have read so much nonsense ..£5 a share? Could someone please set out his this is possible? Or am I missing something? The only thing certain here is the BOD will continue to draw their salaries whatsoever the outcome.

Actually no.Avive share price usually always followed the FTSE. Since Mark Wilson arrived the share price is up around 25% against around 61% for the sector The FTSE 100, and has fallen 17 percent since the Friend's Life deal, whereas the insurance sector has slipped around 7 percent. Value for money based on the huge salary and bonuses???? Take a look at the share price against the FTSE compared to other insurers on an annual basis since he joined.

Hi Alatsea.i hold all three. Average AV £2.40. Personally see the most promising one LGEN for share price growth, AIMHO of course. They seem to be having some success with bulk purchase pensions to manage. Just have to wait and see, all long term holds for me anyway.

Assume that comment is sarcasm? Lol. Aviva is not in the same league as LGEN and Prudential, in management ,planning or anything else. Apart from salaries and bonuses perhaps.........their best at that..

Morning LTI. I posted the 7p prediction on I think 11 Oct when the share price was I believe around 12.5 p. The fund raise is at 10p, 12.5 minus 42% is approx 7p. The prediction was based on the only real known and trusted fact.....the share price at the time of posting . I also suggest we many newbies would have been locked in. You see anything can be done with figures, the truth here is that once again history repeats itself. New buzzword for Cyan ....pump and raise....more accurate than infection point lol.

As I said the reason is simple....... uncertainty. The incompetence is unbelievable! Get rid of the CEO, ( but keep him on for 6 months) run the company by a committee of four highly paid senior execs supported by another load of highly paid directors, keep silent, heads down and hope it all sorts itself out. In my opinion it all demonstrates a disgracefuk lack of leadership and utter disdain for shareholders. There must clearly being something significant in the background. Why are none of the larger shareholders asking questions?

Depends on which timescale. Soon after market crash PRU about a fiver and AV about £2 .30. Look at the comparison today The reality is the whole board seem to be a legend in their own minds! , if you couldn't make money between now and then you may as well lock yourself in a dark room. The business made " leaner" by selling off parts of the company. The purchase of a very profitable Friends Life business. ........so someone explain where the performance bonuses are justified. No succession planning when the CEO steps down , share price calling off a cliff and the silence from the company is deafening. The city hates uncertainty. You really could not write the script.in my view the whole board are culpable for the mess, did they really not see this coming? The only saving grace is the dividend level, how long will this last though?

Hi Tony. If you carry out a free company check the financial situation up until 2017 us clear. It's going to take a massive order or more importantly orders to turn things around anytime soon IMVHO.

My only thought around the meeting is that JC is a salesman........he/the company will all tell you what they believe you want to hear and only anything to their \ the company's advantage, they are hardly going to say anything negative. Unless it's in an official RNS it means absolutely nothing other than what anyone wants to read into it. But like buying a secondgand car,buyer beware. I'm still out until the funding RNS, yes I may pay more ,at least though I will be making a decision based more on fact than assumption. I do think CC may come good but not in the current guise, and unless careful PIs could on the whole be collateral damage,unless sensible of course.
