Hi LTI. The crucial words are " Totalling" and "Total" Seriously why would they hold back some of the contract sum total? They could still provide the overall figure but not the financial numbers. If I were procuring that business I would contractually agree the full financial sum of the package. For me the total package is 4M USD. As I say only my opinion and what I have based my decision on, happy to be corrected although without viewing the contract document or an RNS release giving further clarification that's how I am reading it.

Hi OF1981. I read the RNS as the contract sum being 4m USD, that seems clear in the first line of the statement. It goes on to say:
"Beijing Instruments the right to use CyanConnode's reference designs to manufacture its AMI RF modules and gateways. Beijing Instruments will pay a license fee each time a RF module and/or gateway unit is manufactured, for a total number of modules and gateways over a two year time frame totalling USD 4m."
On that basis unless I have misunderstood BI can produce as many as they like within the two year period, the contract sum must still remain as 4M USD as the the document does not stipulate a further cost around each licence.
Without seeing the contractual agreement there is no way of being sure, you can only go by what's in the RNS. I have made the assumption and looked at it from an investment perspective as 4M USD total inclusive of licences based upon the fact the word "totalling" is there . Only my opinion and happy together corrected.

This was a commercial ,paid for, promotional event which included other companies promoting their wares and designed to encourage investment, no more , no less. Not sure why anyone thinks there is any value to come from the video or feedback. Again anything significant needs to be a formal and regulatory announcement.

Hi Tony. Of course some may not bother attending as there is nothing to learn . The reality is ,it is no doubt some hard sell prior to another cash call. If you truly believe you will learn anything worthwhile or you truly believe you can influence anything you are very mistaken.
Anything relevant needs to be in an RNS in accordance with market rules, we will therefore all learn of anything market sensitive at the same time.
I do agree with Colour though ,some clarification around your post would be helpful.
Before you ask I only attend AGM etc of my blue chip companies, I find that very helpful regards to where a company may be heading.
