Hello Tony, wrong yet again. Yes I did spend around 5 years of my career dealing with those sort of contracts and the private sector. The fact is the money is not guaranteed or anything near unless a contract is signed complete with SLAs, KPIs financial payment terms, penalties, commercial liabilities etc etc. Why make such a statement?
I may do the lottery this week. I am guaranteed to win if all my numbers come up, but I'm definitely going to win big because I'm in the draw, you see how stupid that sounds.
On your further point why would you need more than 10 trades to make money? I'm not sure of your age or when you started trading but you are coming across as quite naive ( as I was when starting on the investment road.)
I soon discovered balanced risk portfolio, reinvest any dividends for expotentional growth , trade as little as possible (pick the right long term solid shares as the main part of your portfolio) and never ,ever fall in love with a share.
After fully retiring mid 50s I think I can stick to my methods , no advice intended of course and DYOR / make your own decisions it is after all your money.
Incidentally you don't have to own shares to post here, in between holidays I like to look in for the entertainment value, it beats the comedy channel!
