Hi ITT. Was on grandkid duty and forgot all about it. I would imagine though there was the same old swerve tactics around orders and cashflow?
The trouble is most of the detail in the presentations is just spin and promises. Not sure if there are any links available? Couldn't see anything on website.

Morning ITT. What worries me more is they have both accepted at the current price, not sure if they could have deferred? That tells me their thoughts on where the SP should be. Let's hope any raise doesn't come before a significant rise.

Another director "purchase" in part payment of salary. As the song goes....."money to tight to mention"........?

At least some of my blue chips are Inthe upward trajectory...for this morning at least lol

I have always believed another raise is on the cards. This is the way with CC. There only other option is debt at what will be a premium to the current high market rate to a company as risky as CC to the lenders perspective. You have to ask yourself would you lend based on the current and historical business model?
I was shot down a week or so back when posing the question about how CC were going to finance this massive expansion expected. The answer seemed to be "upfront payments". Looks that that's gone out the window now so back to plan A ..... shareholders. Good to see HP,has taken shares in leui of salary, probably to save outgoing cash, let's see who's next. You could be right about single figures ITT just depends if there is a cash call .....and at what price. At least the markets overall are looking a bit better, today at least. GLA

Morning ITT. I have to agree, in the commercial world cash is king and lack of it will, as I think you are alluding to put you at a disadvantage.
All major players research and vet all their prospective suppliers very carefully. The reason they do this is to gain commercial advantage ,however small that may be.
For Hardman to get their forecasts so wrong they are either incompetent or believed the rosy forecasts they were painting , worse still CC were paying for the service.
I guess that draws a line under the SP drop over the last month or so, even allowing for the state of the current markets. Hopefully we now may see a tick back up.
For those of us with low averages I guess we will stick around for a while, new and somewhat recent investors will ,I think take some convincing.

Tony I never said CC would have problems you are making assumptions again. If CC get the numbers you keep talking about they will need to finance the growth. That will need to come from shareholders or the financial markets as debt in my opinion.
If you truly believe all customers will pay up front to supply CC expansion you are no doubt going to be disappointed I suspect. I think a buyout is more likely. As with any business cashflow is king.
Either way with my current average I'm happy to wait and see what tune the fat lady songs.
On a side note fingers and every else crossed,any potential bid doesn't arrive until the markets sort themselves. Perhaps Liz and Kwasi could see a small coy Cambridge way to kick off this growth they keep talking about lol. Probably won't post again for a week or so as tied up on other stuff. GLA

The market is having a significant influence but I don't think it's the whole story.

Tony how do you imagine CC are going to finance the millions of rollouts you so often shout about? Before you do don't suggest customers will all be paying up front.

Hi ITT. As was suggested a whole back, something doesn't smell right. Didnt Cyan have an MOU with Vodafone? I'm only interested in what JC has to say at the event at this time. Not sure how much this has to do with current market turmoil. One thing did occur to me is that CC are now I think extremely unlikely to raise through debt due to current market conditions, ( if they ever were) more likely through shareholders. That might explain the SP drop over the last few weeks.

Hi Tony. Day to day chips may well come back down in price in the future. It's the high end high tec chips where the issue will be. Specialist levels of use. Crazy the UK with all its talent has been left without hardly any manufacturing industry. Started with the shoe industry being sent out to Portugal and Spain etc in the 70s . I e thing the pandemic has shown everyone is you need home produced goods , even in this modern age. I well remember when fruit and veg were seasonal, now you can have strawberries at Xmas!

Hi ITT. never really looked at Nasdaq but looks like a worthwhile punt at that price.
I was reading an article a few weeks back around Taiwan and chips. It seems the Chinese have spent years offering silly money to staff from the Taiwanese companies to relocate in China and bring their knowledge. After a couple of years the Chinese slash their salaries and discard them once they have bled their knowledge, forcing them to move back. The Taiwan government have realised that there from China and are building mega factories to protect their position. They view the threat of tech theft by China as a bigger worry than invasion. You only need to look at the dodgy kit Putin is buying from certain countries that is so unreliable to realise chip technology is the new superweapon. I think it's only a matter of time before significant UK investment at home in this type of tech, and about time.

Hi Colour . I agree with you. One would assume on the back of a sizable order they could agree some debt. Let's hope it the way it goes. Of course Director loans might come into play lol

I just wonder ITT if it's funding to progress any large order, for me that is CC,s big weakness and could mean a big share release, I can't think of any else.

I would imagine any approach would not have to be reported unless it is agreed in principle.
One company I bought into years ago was taken over. I did reasonably well but with hindsight there were some pointers. A senior member of the team acquiring took a job with the said company, the share price seemed to remain static although things looked promising ,then ....takeover news.Nothing ever surprises me in this game. I will probably wait until the next order to make my mind up. I think it's worth remembering though that senior staff with skin in the game will as always ensure they are protecting their investment during negotiations phase in my opinion. Call me cynical but ....
