Sounds like an article by an accountant, always caveats and assumptions. Figures can reflect anything you want.
As they say in the article, if you put rubbish in you get rubbish out.
I always doubt these very long (10year plus) forecasts. A lot can happen, look at even the last 3 or 4 years with covid, Ukraine etc. I think I will stick to the week,yearly ,monthly review. Something is only worth what someone will pay for it at the time.

I sent them a note via their website. Seems they read them lol

Jyst shows what johers they are and how little research they must carry out. Why on earth anyone would pay for their research beggars belief.

Sadly Tony it's not a case of what he says or when. It's a case of historical statements that factually rarely goes in the direction he suggests, the market takes what he says with a large pinch of salt it seems.
If his forecasts were accurate just now and then it would help the SP. Personally as I said I don't take much notice of much of what he says in his excitement moments. Talk is cheap,money buys houses.

If only it were that simple Tony. I think LTI mentioned " sharpening pencils " In final negotiations everyone has to do that and take their share of the pain. I would say if CC are partnering with the majority of bidders this could turn out to be to their advantage.

Sorry Tony missed your bit about contracts. The bidders will present their bid and solution. All bids will be reviewed by the client, then if there is little to choose between them ,the fun starts. It's what I used to call negotiation, some bidders will move ,some won't. I have even seen a live online auction of the successful bidders bidding against each other to get the best and final price . At least that's my experience , in India ,who knows.

Tony. I'm not whining, I'm still sitting quite pretty here. The fact of the matter is JC is forever opening his mouth and more often than not coming out with nonsense. You always say some on here affect the SP by negative comments which is nonsense.
For once just stop to consider it could be JC and his persistence to come out with promises he never seems to fulfill that could be holding back the SP.
Maybe just maybe the market doesn't believe what he comes out with based on his past history?

Hi ITT. I also agree with tonyj but I doubt very much it will happen.
I don't take too much notice of JCs comments and it appears and haven't done for years, (seems the market aren't either),we often we get them around Xmas.
If the company changing orders arrive I have still resigned myself to cash call to finance them,the question is at what price?

Job numbers reducing and synergies after today's RNS. Nothing comes free, not even in you bizarre little world.

The point I was making LTI is a negotiation depends on the advantage you hold at the current moment of the negotiation process. A company may for example might need to sell initially at a very low margin to get into the marketplace. The level of commitment by the buyers then results in a stronger negotiation position moving forward for ongoing supply, new products ,licencing etc. That's just my thoughts.
Not sure what you mean by a foot in two camps, I assume it another of your condescending replies to anybody that has different opinion to yours.

You clearly think CC currently have a strong negotiating position LTI. I don't, although I do think long term if they can get significant numbers that could change.
Hopefully some longterm holders can then benefit.......dependant of course on their average purchase price.
That's my take anyway.

Morning Tony. When it comes to how to bandy about figures JC is the master.
I agree Itt CC have to take what they are offered based on their current situation, they have no negotiation power, if they don't provide someone else will. I have always been a little concerned about the margins,something JC has kept close to his chest. Maybe that's understandable. Hopefully the money is in the licensing, if so CC need numbers. The next 12 months will tell. After this I will review my position. Hopefully I will still be able to profit.
Awaiting with bated breath what JC has to say later.
