The point I was making is there is always an option. What is the comparison with Virgin, Talk Talk etc. Their skills are interchangeable between many industries.
I was in a similar position back in the 70s, as my dad said at the time ,change your attitude or change your job. There are always options, particularly in the current jobs climate.

So answer me one question, why did the new intake all feel it ok to take the job on the terms offered? They were either happy with the terms or daft. Which was it?

Think you could be right. I also think CC will be taken out, in my opinion at around the current share price at the time and well before the mythical £4 or even £1 a share (unless serious consolidation of shares takes place!) The BOD will be well looked after with bonus payments and share options ,well paid roles in the new company for the short interim period they t remain in place to "manage the event". There is more than one way to skin a cat as they say.
For us "normal" shareholders with very low averages and little risk we should be comfortable should it happen. Anyone thinking the takeover will be at any serious premium to the share price on the day will be very disappointed I think.
Seen the scenario played out many times before with large and small companies.

I agree ITT. Also what was the delay with awaiting the "audited accounts" and publishing the TU?

Nothing in the text is fact ,just your opinion which is fine, bizzare but fine.
I read lots of the boards , agree and disagree with opinions,the common fact on most boards is the opinion is based on at least a little fact,not just made up drivel. Worse still you keep saying DYOR.....you don't do any is just your imagination.
Hopefully things will at some point work out here, nothing however will be down to of reflective of any of the nonsense you publish. Hi ITT, that's how I understood it.
Incidentally I have emailed the company twice about the past promise of keeping shareholders informed and shareholder engagement JC was pushing out a while back... ..not even the courtesy of a response.........tells me all I need to know. All you can rely on is what they HAVE to release via an RNS. You never know TU might give us a nice Xmas present lol.

Smets 1 do work. I have one and it works out. The issue was sorted with a software solution as I said it would be when the issue was first raised. They can also be updated remotely. Just saying...DYOR DYOR DYOR etc etc
