The Nasdaq listing which is all about the future was not handled well.Why?
The background at the time was awful with Brexit vote etc and worst feeling at JPM for many years.
The hiring of the 2 original underwriters was a bad move and they failed to deliver the support they promised.
That led to hiring of HCW who got Sabbby on board who always took a short term view to get warrants.The BOD took the view that it as better to press ahead rather than pause as market reaction would have been worse and they needed to raise to complete p3.
If they could have got Nasdaq raise off as planned( don’t forget Invesco were quite happy to take bulk to maintain 25% holding at circa 45p) then would have been much better.
However delays and deal crunched out with HCW with warrants etc and low placing price meant it was much lower than wanted.
As rebarm says really hard to raise profile in US for a Company if MTFB size but have made strides but again versus a very difficult background ATM.
Two FDs have come and gone and would take blame for some of NASDAQ shortcomings.
JG is a good guy but interim and certain they will appoint a permanent CFO with the right skills at the right time.
GL is all about options and will be cautious given the background here and his exoerience at Merck.
It is all about getting the big decisions right and you really need to understand this.Far better to wait like submitting the NDA and get the decision right than rush and not get it right as you only get one chance.
Understand the frustration to declining SP and lack of news” but only material news will be released and trying to prop up the SP by doing interviews etc when we know there is a concerted effort to lower this SP would be a short term boost at best so better to wait for real news

ODR have spoken to Nomad specifically on the point about when they need to release news and answer is when it is necessary ie it is material or the end of a particular stage in a process.
General updates can of course be released but normally to cover a number of areas or an update on a process.
As Mole says it is not going to be a blow by blow account unless it is definitive at some stage.
The whole legal process especially in a complicated case will be a series of comings and goings and legal argument not an open and shut case.
I’d they released news saying both sides submitted their evidence and following the judges tecommendations they may want to consider their next actions.whuch is quite likely.Hiw would the market have reacted.
All the negativeers would be saying FRR don’t have a clear cut case and “they have heard” it does not sound good for FRR.
So as always in these situations wait for actual news or hard evidence before deciding what to do.

I find the expectation of news this morning quite amazing unless some deliberately heighten that anticipation in the full understanding that it is unlikely to come and therefore the SP to drop for their own ends.
Anyone who understands anything about the legal process especially in a case like this will be aware that there are a whole host of reasons not to expect a final settlement in a RBS this morning.
Both sides will need to consider what was said yesterday in chambers and get clearance from their legal counsel and a Nomad.
There are a lots of delaying tactics that either side can use to drag this on if needed.
The judge would simply have summed up both sidess cases and made them aware of the legal standing of their position.Both parties would then need to consider their position and then progress from there.
As others have said it is very unlikely to be clear cut at this stage unless it was black and white and that could have been very good or bad news so better to take its full course.

Think you have highlighted one of main issues with SCLP and that is the very high number of PIs and you can see evidence at AGM.
Many of these already have a holding they are happy with hence they don’t usually have the volume to take this up without news.
However in a declining market or no news or delayed news then it only takes a few sells to take this down.

As you know not many PIs attended the AGM but they are all approachable and would have been good to have had more there.
Like you I welcome posts from all sides and yes I am nearly always positive based on my understanding of the fundamentals but like to think I also point out things that I think have been handled badly like Nasdaq listing and some of the SP shenigans.
The idea that LTH who have been here from the start and who have large amounts of money invested here are falsely confident and don’t welcome alternative views is a nonsense.
I would question if you had a considerable invested here if you were not confident and/ or not looked at the fundamentals here
Anyway less than 2 months to PDUFA but interesting to think that most of the LTH are still here after these major decision points whereas the short termed cone and go.

Iclaprim is a novel AB.Anyone else name a DHFR on the market.Only trimethoprin is same group but much less potent.
They could have done a deal but has to be the right one as you only get one shot.What if they had done a deal with PRTK or AKAO.Would you be happy even with an upfront payment.I certainly would not.
The whole market is awful ATM and the low volume is easy to force down.
You may well get your wish for sub 20 who knows but will present a great opportunity for many including me.Still.very Confident on Approval and a deal but all,about keeping your patience and staying strong and not trying to think SP is indicative of the fundamentals

To do it within 4 years with a team of 8 and spending less than £100m is very impressive.Tgat is why GL will be highly regarded within Pharma and by big SH.
Have you seen SG/Invesco/M&G selling bad they have invested millions.

They are competitors in the sense that they are other ABs but the specific target market means that Iclaprim is very important likely to compete head to head as it is positioned to be used where the majority of these ABs cannot or will not be used.
Iclaprim is a DHFR and totally different from all others on that list in how it works.
All of the ones you quoted are new variations of existing ABs and cross resistance so likely to be a major potential issue

Know it is a lot easier to have a clear plan like on the other state you quote which is a single asset but I can promise you they have always stated their clear pathway via corporate presentations however the SP does not always reflect progress like here lol.
What I mean by clear plan is answering questions like what is absolute priority the SCIB 1 Combo or Moditope in the clinic.?
Is advancing the trial process more important than getting involved in new areas like TCR?
What is there definitive preferred way forward.Is it developing individual platforms and attracting the required funding or is it to commercialise a specific platform and then fund the rest.
I think we know the answer to that one but when you have a small bio with very limited human and financial resources it is important to know absolute and preferred priorities rather than just assign a similar priority to everything.
Of course the preferred list can alter as other information or interest becomes available so it is a moveable feast.
I only seek a more precise and specific approach rather than the more general and nebulous( to quote Juncker ha ha) approach I detect within SCLP.
