Individual pronouncements on how good the science is will have no effect whatsoever on the SP in a meaningful way unless they are independent,expert and backed up by a commercial deal of some sort.
You need data for pharma to make a move and is as simple as that.
Great data and massive re valuation.
Moderate data and I mean in humans not mice for Moditope for efficacy and safety and the road ahead will be tough.
For the record I am confident the data will be good enough hence I am heavily invested here but there is risk

Yes good publicity this am which improves background for Iclaprim.
Could easily impact on MTFB re future indications/EMA Approval and possible extended patent protection like in US and make package more valuable.
So any immediate new measures recdrug development may not help Iclaprim directly but could in future help it.
Also dont forget MTFB could be seen as a great future partner for developing other promising ABs given its successc with Iclaprim so far

Absolutely I want us to stay suspended until we get news on the court action.
Appreciate that some way want to exit but we have seen what a total toxic mess this BB has become whilst suspended so you can imagine what it would be like if we were trading again.
The SP would tank in speculation and innuendo and panic would ensue.How would people feel if they sold out at say 0.15 assuming they could and then good news was RNSd and they we’re locked out.
No one can say with certainty how this will eventually play out so relax and wait

PR you may well have done as did not scroll through whole drug list as on phone.
Sounds like it may be priority review under “ emergency need” rather than as part of QIDP specifally related to ABs like Iclaprim

MTFB in total lockdown so can’t be certain re exact date decision will be made but still sticking with 13th Feb as to do it earlier would set a precedent of less than 6 months and it is not an emergency drug.
The shutdown may effect timing of these things but a tweet sent by a FDA group said they could complete all PDUFAs before 17th Feb and possibly until end of Feb.

Yep we all have to decide who to listen to or not and as you say plenty of agendas driven by all kinds of motivations like financial gain and ego.
As we are suspended it does seem rather pointless to be agitated etc but just stay patient and all will be revealed in fullness of time.Not that we can do anything about it ATM

Am experiencing a 15% drop on another of my bios today but simply takes us back a week.
Much more comfortable here on 39p than 24p and it us all about SP in 2-3 weeks time so not worried about volatility but yes not nice when your P/F drops a few k overnight but has to be expected on AUM.
As long as you are confident in fundamentals and these don’t change

Saw it and very useful to hear from someone who actually has the specific knowledge and expertise rather than speculating.Met him at past AGMs and vouch for his strong desire to retain Moditope.
Interesting that DE finds it easier to post on ADVFN given the hostility and acrimony some LSE posters have for the place.
Imo best to accept all relevant views to make balanced judgements as we have seen where only ultra positive or negative thoughts are given it only leads to poor investment decisions

Thanks for kind words.What I can say is MTFB is in lockdown mode and has been since start of year so anyone claiming to know in advance any news good or bad before officially released should be taken with huge pinch of salt imo
Still looks OK for PDUFA datevof 13th Feb as FDA apparently has enough money to guarantee PDUFAs up to 17/2 and possibly up to end of Feb.

Ruck.Can guess where that comment came from.The irony is I am probably one of the most relaxed on here along with your good self as we actually contemplated the possibility of not winning.
It only takes us back to where we were and with the seller about and the inevitable traders exiting we know the SP will have a bad day.
Just wish the ones who claim dead cert to win and £20m guaranteed in SCLP coffers would for once just apologise and either say they were wrong and should not have over hyped the level of expectation.
They are the ones that make it easy for the traders not the balanced posters who counsel against being ultra positive or negative.
Just look at the SP reaction so it is easy see why some people( Exclude likes of Wildforce/C7/Crumbs and others) have large holdings( can be relative) and are genuinely confident and show humility-But some who are heavily underwater and make predictions that are constantly wrong will be taking a real beating today.They are the ones that should look in the mirror and say is it me or is everyone else still wrong.

Yes disappointing and very gracious RNS this morning from SCLP congratulating the winners.
As others have said great achievement to have gotten so far and we simply don’t know why Project Blueprint did not win out.
Maybe the more commercial tie up and the need to include many US involved projects counted against us or maybe the presentation did not go as well as expected as hinted at by CH comments in November and downplayed at AGM.
Reiterates point about not crowing in advance as all these entries are excellent and only leads to inevitable advance hype and then a steep SP fall like this first off today.
Anyway let us see what develops but let us not get away from fact this is a major disappointment and let us hope it spurs BOD into progressing other news with speed and vigour

This board is getting depressing on here but you have to stay optimistic both here and elsewhere.
You don’t need to be a professional imo to make a success on AIM but you have to be prepared to work hard,be disciplined and learn the game which takes a lot of time and effort.
Be prepared to bank your profits and minimise your losses and don’t take unecessary risks.
TA and charts can be very useful though don’t understand them myself but equally fundamentals and latching onto sentiment are equally important and find people you can trust if possible.
I do believe this is not about the huge gas reserves but the oil turnaround story which there is plenty of evidence,plus the alignment of the BOD with SH.
We are mostly aware of the history of failed promises but equally how things have changed.I have no truck with the serial,rampers( but many of the names quoted earlier are balanced LTH who have big holdings) and equally with the shorters.
Just do it without getting so angry and toxic even though I nderstabd many of the frustrations here.
We can’t do anything as suspended so let us just wait and see what happens rather than endless speculation powered by personal agendas and the need to be heard.
