I would suggest it was the rant of someone who couldn't handle the job. And obviously too many cans of K.
The fact that a 2nd delivery was mentioned, would mean he/she was employed over 15 years ago.
I reckon she/he was caught out not delivering the 2nd delivery, got sacked, and the CWU couldn't get her/him off. Hence the bitterness.

In simplistic terms for you, some things that were in place that have now changed.

43 hour week, now 38 hour.
6 day week, now 5.
£88 per week take home pay, now over £400 per week.

None of the above achievable without the CWU.

It appears to me that the low this year was mid august, about 188p, so around the time of suggestion of IA.
End of may the closing price was 194p. What was the reason for this?
The yes vote does not carry much weight with the market, IMO.
Action is a completely different thing. I hope for your investment you do not find that out.

I've been with RM for 30 years and all I've seen is discussion between RMG and the CWU to resolve issues.
I think that there has only been action 3 times (I stand to be corrected on this) in that time. The last time 10 years ago.
And the reason that the CWU fight "YOUR" corner so vehemently, is so that our service to the public and our very good t's & c's are not eroded, and we don't become a Hermes, DHL et al.
