The CWU achieved the DCB scheme which is going through government now.
Apparently this is where the future of pensions are going.
While I'm not entirely happy, needs must. And it is still better than the basic one that employers have to offer.
I thought you opted out of the CWU because of the loss of d2d payments?
Even though that was before you started!!

If the CWU can strike before they will. I thought it was 2 weeks notice after mediation had concluded.
If I'm right and it is the 22nd onwards, then Mr Back must be very worried.
The quarterly report, election mailings and IA in one week. Closely followed by black friday.
I cant see Mr Back letting this happen.
Especially, if as expected, the figures are not as anticipated. IMO.

The discussions come to an end on the 8th. The CWU can therefore give strike notice for the 22nd and beyond, IMO.
I've heard that the GE mailings will be presented from the 21st, but i'm not sure how correct that is.
Am I the only one that thinks that the CWU will call for IA from the 22nd?
Does this strengthen their hand?
I did mention a while back, that a GE would force Mr Backs hand into reaching a compromise. In laymans terms, backing down!
TP did seem to be extremely bullish by the mediators recommendations.
Do the hierarchy at RMG appear to be pleased? It doesn't look like it judging by the communications from RMG. Personal letters to my house now! And the daily barrage from RMTV. I'm thinking of taking my slippers in and an armchair.
This smacks of desperation!!!
