Only 2m voted against the re-appointment of 2 of the Bod's- thats not going to strike fear into them for lack of confidence in them- Its a pity PI's shout loud on bb's but when it comes to action they can't be arsed.

Roughmeister, I seem to recall JG and few others did upset the cart a few years back (by voting against increasing the headroom), It could have been a comical scene when they saw JG and the others, oh no not them again, lets withdraw the resolutions!- but as you say we know nothing as Manuel in Fawlty Towers would say.

Roughmeister, hope your interpretation is correct, However another plausible explanation could be that weren't to know how those attending would have voted and the feelers they got from the proxy voters made them take a cautious approach by withdrawing res.6&7, defeat could have been interpreted as lack of confidence in the bod. As I have said hope your interpretation is the right one.

Perhaps someone needs to cheque with the company, but I don't think the 47m shares were dependent on resolutions 6&7 to passed, they emanate from the egm in December, otherwise there would have been a hell of a short.

Uncanny I hope it is valuable institutional investor not a wonga YA institution, but we don't know, the fact they got a 30% discount to the prevailing price and the price had been brought down to that level from the previous week leads me to believe that either it was forward sold or the new investors do not have sticky hands- hopefully I am wrong.

1414, just out of interest do you have close links with the BoD or a recent insight into what "incredible work is going on". As they say time is money, they've had ten or more years of investors money to increase the value of the company, investors should at least feel that over time their investment should bear fruit and that should be reflected in the share price, instead it has been the reverse. How would the Bod feel if their pay was linked to the performance of the shares, they would have a negative take home pay. I am all for positive support but it needs to be tinkered with honest critique.

It's taken ages for the 12m from ya to be absorbed, I suppose it'll be a while before the 47m from Friday are absorbed- need to get on with the 401 commercial deal.

Yes well spotted JG, hadn't noticed the date.

Agree Shirl, the strategy should be to do a commercial deal with compound (say 401) and use the income from that to develop other compounds, also if further funding is required it should be planned so to maximise an opportunity when the share price is high and do a rights issue on the back of a positive development, the bod need to do their work in terms of financing the company appropriately rather than panic into opting for the nearest wonga loan type of deal. The Chairman needs to more appropriately align the renumeration of the bod to the size and stage of the company.

Good on you Shirleyfraser, It's a pity people don't take opportunities to show their dissatisfaction with the BoDs performance over the years, when once a year the opportunity presents itself, no wonder the bod continue to ignore the owners of the company. If there was pressure put on them then surely they would see the need to purchase shares themselves in order to preserve their employment and thus align their interests with us.

JG thanks for the feedback from the AGM, can you say anything on the votes on resolution 2&3 what sort of support the two candidates got for their re-election to the BOD.

Why are people getting their knickers in a twist, it just means they were asking for a blank cheque for the next 12 months and the share holders have to their credit no you can't take us for fools again. The market seems to like it and is picking up positively, so people coming here to suggest suspension- why?

They definitely won't be dishing out shares like confetti, would need to come with a worked out plan and adhere to financial discipline to gain our support at a future egm.

Excellent result, good on people who voted and held their nerve, now let the bod do some thinking and come up with a thoroughly worked out financial plan to move forward and get its approval from us the owners of the company.

That would be the official rns, it'll be interesting to hear from those attending as to the general atmosphere and response to questions if there were any asked.

TMT if you have been a shareholder for some time in this company, don't you see this a common pattern, they blackmail you into giving away your rights by saying how critical it is to increase the headroom, then come the next year it is the same story, because we the PI's have not the balls to stand up to them and say enough is enough, no wonder they are so arrogant.

So you are supporting giving away your pre-emption rights and allowing them to increase by 100% the no shares without first telling you their plan, they might have done the hard work but we have been paying them handsomely for it all of it at our risk.
