I have posted this before but.........in the past I have owned a logistics company with several warehouse's and within those warehouses were some great forklift truck drivers who could lift pallets at 40ft from racking without even looking....and then turn the truck on a sixpence and end up exactly where they needed to be....but just because they were great forklift drivers in the warehouse didn't mean they could run the warehouse..............and I just think as good as a 'forklift truck' driver AS may have been......he's just not up to running the warehouse.

Good point.......it sort of answers my own question on the placing thread.........I think it was a discount percentage agreed weeks ago which enabled the placee to sell down borrowed shares constantly knowing that whatever price they reached by today would just bank them more and more profit.............which of course we know is how brokers\ lenders normally make most of their money on AIM.........bent yes ........but thats AIM I guess.

The trouble is.....what I'm thinking is the talks regarding placing we now know started when the SP was above a £1 (because lots of people popped up saying a placing was happening).......so how have things become so bad since Dec 13th and AS's cheerleader stuff "paradigm shift"...."don't worry about finance"..........to only being able to get the placing away at a 50% discount to the 'talk' price ...let alone a 61% from when there was a paradigm shift about to happen.

Mate who knows....maybe AS has become a bit too billy big time..........one things for sure, after that RNS you are going to be ploughing those fields for at least another couple of years.

It disappoints me to say there have been some large holders here who have been very quiet over the last week ..........and in my opinion they were given the nod to sell and buy back at the bottom when the price settles at it's base...........they will be very happy this evening.

You say that @icecool.........but there is no way the market will trust this joker again......lets not forget that he has not produced any organic income form his Business for nearly 20 years bar a small income foprm the animal side whch he promptly sold for 1m..........i hope we get an RNS in the morning to say he has stepped down and the company is in the process of finding replacement.

Icecool a really good point there.... you are absolutely right....to date since Peel Hunt since turned up (and in my opinion a good broker) the disposal of Heights shares have been much more orderly and I think it has made a big difference to the stability of the SP
