Doubt if the BoD can be bothered even following up market leads on the subsistence salaries we pay them for non-performance. Fully expect their pending revision to their VCP will award themselves even greater "wealth beyond their wildest dreams". Wonder if this will ever be sold off before nuclear fusion renders oil & gas irrelevant.

Holding 5.2M ! of these tickets to insanity and corruption and Madam would have left, leaving me with the uglier of the twins and nought much else !

Hi h1970 - if (ie when) they change the VCP/SRP clauses to re-set the qualifying dates and/or award themselves an even larger payout from this public company - then the majority of shareholders have to approve it - would be my understanding. There must be something "in it" for the mysterious faces who stand behind the ex-Bond holders who now make up the majority of SHs or this would have been squashed first time round. We are left to assume that "silence" is the key to the mystery. Jon is certainly keeping to his side of that bargain - unlike his empty promises to ourselves in Paris. I reiterate: what are our Strategists and Production Specialists doing all day ?? - production is stable, no terrorists on the horizon, new puppet masters appear to be paying the subsistence amount..... if planning an expansion, re-negotiang the PSC, or something which is actually benefitial to The Company - then tell us how it's coming along then Jon ? Malcy has promised to darken the HQ corridors soon - maybe he can wriggle some titbits out of them. We shouldn't have to rely on this type of communication to find out what our company is up to. Looks like we can expect a revision to these fabulous self-awards schemes quite soon (please confirm my interpretations DuffyMoon) - unless of course a sale of GKP materializes within the next couple of weeks: Resolution 9: VCP The changes made to the VCP are as follows: A reduction is being made to the percentage of the incremental value created above the hurdle growth rate which is distributed to the Executive. The reduction is from 10% to 8%. A cap of $US20m is being introduced to the total value of the Nil Cost Options, i.e. at each Measurement Date the aggregate value of all Nil Cost Options granted at previous Measurement Dates and at that Measurement Date shall not exceed $20million. The value of Nil Cost Options for these purposes being the value at the Measurement Date in respect of which they were granted. The share price for the purposes of measuring the VCP is based on a US$350 million market capitalization; an increase from US$300 million. A change to the special provision in the event of a change of control. If the Company enters into a binding sale agreement before 31st December 2017, the value of the units held by participants shall equal 2% of the acquisition price of the Company, less the value provided under the 2016 Staff Retention Scheme. This date has changed from 13th July 2017. Regarding the distribution of the incentive pot, the discretion is given to the Board to make the distribution that is justified in their view. Resolution 10: SRP Resolution 10 is set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting dated 16 November 2016 and relates to the 2016 Gulf Keystone Staff Retention Plan (SRP). The principal terms of the SRP are summarised in Part 3 of the Circular dated 16 November 2016. The changes to the SRP related to where the Company enters into a binding sale agreement before 31st December 2017 (instead of 13th July, 2017) ........ lets wait and see then ;)
