I appear to have 95000 shares here - I have opted for shares in lieu of cash.
Can any of you numbercrunchers tell me how many I should receive (roughly) ?

It really doesn’t matter who they vote for - maybe Trump will stand ?

It will be resolved by brown envelopes all round (as always)!

A few secondary concerns - where will these golden handout bonus shares come from ?:
- Has someone earmarked buyback shares to be dished out and reinstated ?
- Does our Company buy the shares on the open market using our working capital ??
- Does our Company print some additional shares ???

Who pays the tax on these handouts when declared within the domiciled countries of the lucky recipients ( or are we assumed to just pick up that tab also ) ?

How do we as shareholders call to heel the incestueus Remunerations Committee to have this ridiculous situation reviewed and hopefully repeeled ?

Trust we all noticed today’s RNS ? which lists out the bonuses and awards which our management will benefit from this year alone - eg Jon Harris picks up a cool £million worth of shares ….
A golden stream of a million a year to one employee in bonuses is surely worth investigation within a small company ?
This right to ‘riches beyond the wildest dreams’ dates back to July 2014 (as I see it - GKP has hardly progressed during the elapsed 10yrs).
Perhaps its time for the shareholders (and the Remunerations Committee !) to review this ?
Should be noted that The Recipients are already being paid handsomely for running this small, glacial Company…….

I suspect that Ankara, right now - will be pushing Erbil hard to shoulder some of the $1.4Bn fine “as it was your oil we were exporting”.
Erbil will then turn immediately to defaulting on all invoices due from us oilers working under their regime, as Erbil is effectively bankrupt due to the usual skin-offs.
We, and the poor population of Kurdistan - will be expected to live on fresh air to bail out the rulers yet again.
Perhaps we should unite, and stop all production - until SOMO forces the tinpot rulers to capitulate ?
Are there any other ways out of this guys ?

This golden opportunity has landed in their laps to default on our outstanding Q422 and Q123 invoices - will not be lost on our opportunistic masters (there will be internal squabbles among them as to how to divvi-up the spoils, no doubt) - and then of course they will use this shut-down as a rolling excuse to seriously delay, reduce or ignore subsequent payments.
The prospect of returning to road tankering must have them salivating at the thought of the myriad of pilfering possibilities opening up to them yet again.
Poor old GKP - we will inevitably take the hit heavier than our colleagues after the naive boasts of spiraling profits and high dividends last week.

No question about Baghdad punishing us little oil companies - we were working under the whims of the dubious (but hugely wealthy) rullers of Kurdistan.
This will pan out to our long term benefit.

KRG have been stealing oil by to allow the proceeds of pilfering by the few to continue - the Kurdistan population are being hoodwinked by their own rulers.
This recent action brings everything to a head - painfull: yes, but we will all benefit from proper transparency via SOMO and financial control from Baghdad in the long run.
Hanging on in there and buying up what I can is what I am doing……

Relax guys - Baghdad can now break the tribals into accepting that SOMO and ICG handle all hydrocarbon deals.
I will feel much more confident that the ICG will conduct business with a more transparent, businesslike and formal approach - with a mininal of pilferring and delaying tactics.
The tribals must be squirming at their pending loss of control of their personal sweetshop.
The population of Kurdistan has been cheated out of their rightful incomes from their country’s natural assets for way too long.

Oh, great to discuss this B… from memory the H2S forms H2SO4 and that eats into anything iron based. 316 SS is probably the expensive long term answer…. maybe we could discuss this offline (or submit a TQ to GKP ?) as this board is maybe not the platform ;j

Mmmmm - rather than flaring - use produced gas to drive HP reverse osmosis plant to de-salinate salt water and dissolve out sodium…. plenty of scope for innovations here.

So in summary - we can only hope and pray that our masters are themselves heavily invested in GKP, and that they will therefore be lenient re FDP approval, facilitating expansion plans (and of course) - the forthcoming era of healthy dividends !

Yes, I well recall the heady days of road tankers - all had to operate under the auspicies of one prominent tribal family - and tales of sections of the daily convoy being split off and redirected to “special destinations”….. these were the days ( I remember wondering if a blind corporate eye was being turned to these goings-on in return for un-justifiable bonuses and pensions).
Anyway - my current fear remains….. can GKP maintain/increase these wonderful dividends without suffering the wrath of our masters ?

So - they are taking off the cream off the crude and then re-bottling the junk and paying us at a lower price for it.
Nice one. (if you can get off with it).
Guess Who pockets the proceeds from selling the cream then ?

Read yesterday that Iraq produces 6 x the oil that the UK manages to survive on.
Where is all that free petroleum money bring syphened off to ? (and they default on our paltry monthly payments )!

Convincing presentation this morning.
However -Jon #1 & Sami promised similar targets 8yrs ago - and exited as personal millionaires having achieved diddly squat.
Surely the current management team will be more prudent with awarding themselves prematurely?
Tribals delaying our recent 3 months of payments may be their last bite of our dripping roast - hope Baghdad is significantly more transparent.
A little concerned that measures will be applied by the MNR et al to cut down our revenue (and hence dividends) if they become too unpalatable to our masters.
Maybe a significant buy-back campaign will be more prudent should we indeed become the cash-cow as predicted today ?.
