Here we are - lost souls in the desert….. our sole customer won’t pay us for the efforts and investments we have devoted to building and operating a plant to produce their oil.

Its not as if they are not being paid for the product - the travesty here is where these $millions are disappearing to.

The population are being hoodwinked, we are being bullied into accepting grudgingly late and reduced payments (historical debt recovery is fantasy).

And they are advertising for inward investment !

Maybe time to send the unpaid invoices directly to Baghdad listing what is due, when due, and what the outstanding late payment interest is currently.

Anyone seen our BoD to get this kicked-off ?

How are our wells holding up to this shutdown one wonders ?

A proactive BoD would maybe turn up to work, review and report ???

A) Of course they don’t want to pay us - over any timeframe - burning question is where did they spend that money ? the population didn’t see any of it and probably we never will.

Our copious dividends recently must have profoundly angered them - as they have a mentality based on the belief that the money belongs in their private accounts.

B) They must have open access to all future oil sales revenues to allow their birthright of pilferring to continue as before. Would nor surprise me that a deal has been struck with Erdogan to hold off on valve openings until Baghdad is brought to heal.

Isn’t it obvious to everyone what the ‘game of thieves’ is here ?

Worst case scenario:?

Turkey is nearly bankrupt seemingly, Erdogan won’t be dipping into his euewateringly humungous personal wealth to help, he will prefer to either have the $1.5B fine dropped, or split with Baghdad, Baghdad will go after Erbil as they were as guilty as Turkey for selling/transporting the illegal oil, Erbil will go after the oil companies (us) as usual to stump up, this will drive us all into bankruptcy, Erbil will take over our assets in Kurdistan foc…..… game, set and match.

BARZANI Oil will prosper.

I guess the huge matrix of unpaid bills owed to us foreign oil co.s are now starting to land on Baghdad/SOMO desks …. and they want to know:

a) why they were not paid within the hugely extended time frames as set up by Erbil ?

b) which monkeys pocketted the moneys …??

c) where did the $billions evaporate to ….. ???

ludicrously wealthy, «incompetent buffoons’ - just doing due diligence to maintain their birthright cut of our unpaid invoices and any other drippings they can glean from our contributions.

Why oh why did any of us ever get embroiled in this clusterflux of deceipts and pilferring where the sole ambition of those in power is to enrich themselves at the expense of the population they pretend to represent and the western companies trying to produce their oil for a fair return on investment.

Erdogan will surely up his personal cut for using his pipeline now that he has secured a further 5 years license to skim the cream.

How can one apparently self-made billionaire fool more than half of the country for so long ?

….. of course they have (not enough slack in the deal to allow sufficient scope for inventive pilferring to resume).

These tribal leaders didn’t become billionaires by being compliant to signed and accepted rules and agreements.

Huh, why bother using up capital on buying back ….. they will just dilute again when they feel they have turned up for work for a few days or logged on to their GKP web address for a few hours.

I thought SOMO marketted an were paid for the oil sales, into a central bank which the Kurdistani could look - but not touch …… then Baghdad would send the agreed share of the Iraqi budget to Erbil ?

As usual ….. wasting company cash ob buyback campaigns, then wasting doubly on issuing new shares for invisible, deaf, dumb & blind management to reward each other for lacklustre performance.

Right now we should perhaps be conserving every dollar we have ?

I have exactly the same history here Bugsy (we go back a long way).

Life is finite and GKP was my only error (so far !) …. maybe it will come up to break even if we are bought out - but 15yrs of investment shane and wasted opportunities.
