"......in due course" doesn't fill me with confidence that anything is going to materialise anytime soon. It'll be a shame if the SP is left to drift back down to 5p to 6p during this gap in news.

That's more like it - 222,000 modules shipped in the final quarter (more than I had hoped for). Tidy.

Do I think that CC warrants a higher SP?

On existing reliable available revenue information, no.

My gamble is that the next few items of news on revenue will be positive and the SP will rise but, unfortunately, the company has a track record of promising a lot and delivering very little. Therefore, it will take a series of positive news RNS (not the odd one) for a bit of credibility to be clawed back and for the market to take it seriously.

Based on JC's latest statement (14/01/2021), I'm betting on the first bit of good news landing in mid to late April. If no Trading Update is forthcoming by then, it will suggest that the 4th quarter didn't pan out as JC had imagined.

I'd say (although probably wrong):

CERES V CYAN

- CERES revenue is ten times that of Cyan.
- CERES retained losses are only twice those of CYAN

My guess is that some CERES investors believe that there is a chance that one day they might receive a dividend. So, CERES share price benefits from a wider range of investors.

Unless things change dramatically, CYAN will not appeal to the same investors (i.e. the ones believing that one day a dividend will be forthcoming) because dividends will never be paid in our lifetime. For CYAN shares to rise, buyers need to believe that there's a chance of an actual proper business being built and that it will eventually appeal enough to be bought out.

Looking at the ages of the people who matter, they will be wanting to attract a buyer sooner rather than later and will use every trick in the book to achieve it. That's fine by me.

On 14/01/2021, JC wrote that £400K had been received in those couple of weeks of January and that they were expecting increased demand between 14/01/2021 and 31/03/2021.

At that rate (without any increase), cash received could be £2.4M to £2.6M (13 weeks @ £200K ) for the quarter.

Arden have taken him at his word and included an estimated revenue figure of £5.8M for the Y/E 31/03/2021 in their latest research note:

£3.4M - period ended 31/12/2020
£2.4M - quarter ended 31/03/2021

IMO, this will be flying past Arden's target price in due course. Happy to buy a few more early next week in my SIPP, when this month's funds clear.

There's no rule re reporting quarterly.

The company did adopt quarterly reporting policy a few years ago but soon dropped it when they realised how inconsistent their sales figures were.

"An AIM company must publish annual audited accounts which must be sent to its shareholders WITHOUT DELAY and in any event not later than six months after the end of the financial year to which they relate".

Buys or sells? It doesn't really matter, as all trades combined don't add up to much.

I'd imagine that the SP would move pretty quickly either way if anyone wanted to buy or sell a reasonable amount.

I'm not sure that it's that helpful talking about 250m units constantly. The numbers (i.e. in the hundreds of thousands) that Cyan are now shipping are not insignificant.

The more modules that they get out there working, the more evidence there will be that their inclusion makes a difference (hopefully).

We need to see that at least another 150k to 200k of mudules have been shipped in this final quarter to 31/03/2021.

I am encouraged with the company finally getting on with shipping modules to customers and satisfying existing orders. If the kit is any good, you would think that more sales will be made.

What I need now is for Mrs or Mr Chari to start running it back up to 9p - 9.5p.

Just had a little punt at 6.54p.

I think that there's a good opportunity to make 25% to 30% pretty quickly from here (i.e. within a month or so) but I've been wrong many times before.

....should be landing within a month.

Arden's Mr Simms is predicting sales of nearly £6m for the Y/E 31/03/2021. If they do manage that sort of figure, you'd think that the SP might test 10p this time around. (I think that it did manage 9.2p'ish fairly recently).

Could be an interesting couple of months, one way or another.

For the 200K units, I was referring to Arden's research note (page 4) dated 16/02/2021 in which it says that 201,309 have been delivered against total Indian orders of 922,940.

There's a limit to how much time I'm prepared to spend on this. For now, 200K of 3M (7%) seems OK to me. If it eventually appears that Cyan's share of the Indian market is increasing, great.

Sorry, what difference are you referring to?

If there's a lag between Cyan supplying manufacturers and those meters being installed and counted, that will eventually correct itself anyway. If the percentage moves in Cyan's favour, great.

I was just trying to get a rough idea of what percentage of total installations in India Cyan were involved with. It appears to be about 5%-7% (200K of 3M) by the end of 2020.

We have been led to believe that there will be approximately 400K Cyan units out there by the end of March.
