£60M-£70M of losses need to be cleared before dividends are possible. That's quite a way off.
Repurchase scheme seems the logical way forward if cash position allows.

One of my old investments (Ashtead) has started doing so and it has really perked up the SP.

I'm counting on a 15% win rate for Cyan for contracts awarded during 2022, as per Hardman's latest note. That's 15% of 40M, not the 250M.
I believe that Cyan could cope with 6M units - after all, they've had plenty of time to get their ducks in a row.
We'll have to wait and see how things pan out.

Hopefully (finally), over the next few weeks/months, one way or another, I will receive enough information to assess whether or not I want to stay invested in Cyan.
Obviously, it's not going to be involved in every contract awarded but it will need to show that it's involved (at some level) in its fair share (i.e. 1 in 10 or far more preferably 1 in 5).

Non-payment and theft is inevitably going to become a serious problem for utility companies worldwide, even in places where they thought it would never be an issue on a big scale. Young Martin is doing his best to wake one or two up.

If Cyan's offering is 'amongst the highest', it does sound to me like someone else is getting a 100% success rate.

I've always thought that £50M - £100M would do the trick.
If an offer comes, I think that it will be in the region of 30p - 35p per share (£70M - £80M), which I'd be more than happy with.

We have an interesting company near us in Mid Wales that started by filling in the gaps that other companies weren't interested in - making what they make by hand in small quantities. They are now growing so fast that they are buying more and more property to accommodate their rapidly expanding workforce.
It started with the owner working alone in his workshop at home.

Yes, that TU was exactly what I wanted.

In fact, I'm happy for SP to stay put for a couple of weeks. I'm waiting for some funds to land in my account from a recent disposal, which will enable me to top up my Cyan holding. In an ideal world, I'd like to be able to buy at or around the level of the March's fundraise but that might not be possible.

In business, as in one's personal life, you experience good luck and bad luck.

When good luck lands, you need to (1) recognise that it has happened and then (2) take full advantage of it.

Normal/traditional ways of doing things go out of the window and a new approach embraced.

I do hope that the BoD recognise that they are extremely lucky to have this opportunity in India and are open to believing that others could help them achieve their goals for the company's shareholders and maybe in double-quick fashion.

We all need to be open to changing the way that we do things, if it's for the better.

Anyway, I've said what I want to say and will stop now.

Perhaps Cyan could benefit from some 'support' from an outfit like this to maximise their current opportunity. My guess is that Cyan as a company is a bit too small for them but they might be swayed by the size of the opportunity.
