In Hardman's report, which is dated 03/10/2022, it says:-
"Under the terms of the contract, supply of the modules will commence in September 2022".
Why are they talking in future tense?
Has the supply of Bihar's modules commenced or not? It's that simple.
IMO, these reports are not worth the paper that they're written on.

They'll never make any money because they can't create a business model that works. As it's not in their control, they'll always be in cap in hand mode.
I'm also beginning to doubt the chance of a takeover because there's no real opportunity to build on, everything about Cyan is so piecemeal.
I'm not sure that the drop is complete - I see single figures again around the corner.

Things will never change here. As the company has no cash to speak of, they have no strength whatsoever in negotiations and end up taking what they are offered.
Estimated sales in 2024 (2024!) of £16M. What?
When I invested in Cyan, I risked my cash in a software company, not some boring utility-like investment that will take decades to provide me with a return.
JC might as well apply for charitable status and give Cyan's products away.
Worse than hopeless.

Hardman have also reduced their fair enterprise value by more than 30%.
The 22% figure could easily be a complete anomaly - the process has only just started.
Really disappointed and they're obviously using MENA to distract from the fact that India isn't panning out as hoped.

Glad that they explained why Cyan's estimated income figure for 2023 has been shot to pieces.

Nice to see a few decent sized buys going through, showing a little bit of confidence.

Not a lot of thought has gone into the estimates. It appears to me that he's taken the 2022 sales and simply increased by 30% to arrive at his 2023 estimates and then do the same with the 2023 figure to arrive at his 2024 estimates.

I hope we haven't paid a lot for the 22/09/2022 report.

If there is so much momentum, I'd like to know why the same Alex is estimating only £16M of sales for the Y/E 31/03/2024 in his full research note dated 22/09/2022.

I give up.

IMO, it's not going a bit far to just want to know that the supply has commenced in line with the company's own statement.
100K sold at 11p.
We're lower now than we were a year ago.
Extremely disappointing.

"The (1 million unit) order relates to a smart metering deployment in Bihar and supply of Omnimesh Modules is expected to commence during September 2022."

I trust that JC will confirm on Tuesday that this deployment in Bihar has in fact commenced.

In your opinion, should we ignore Arden's (our joint broker) revenue estimates for Y/E 31/03/2023 (£12M) and 31/03/2024 (£16M) - those estimates don't fit with a Cyan 20% share of the ongoing 250M meter rollout.

As recently as 11/04/2022, Hardman & Co were estimating revenue of £18.83M for Y/E 31/03/2023.

It'll be interesting to see how they think things are panning out.
