IMO, it's a shame that JC caved. If she/he (investor) was so keen, I'd like to know how many shares they could have bought in the open market for 12.25p.

How many shares do you need to offer to buy for the company to sell you new ones?

I'm pretty sure that Hardman were saying that break-even comes in 24/25.

I have noticed all week that Google Finance's Cyan chart is behaving strangely. If you hover over the dot, you will see the volume of trades. For example, it currently shows 61K shares, even though LSE's trade shows 20,359.
If you look at 11/10/2022 and hover on the graph with your mouse, you will see the volume as 1.3M shares. Google Finance is usually really reliable to see as and when trades go through.
Could more trades be going through but not be showing up in the normal way?

IFRS 15 seems to be the thing that they want to get on top of. The IFRS 15 revenue model has five steps:

1. Identify the contract with a customer
2. Identify all the individual performance obligations within the contract
3. Determine the transaction price
4. Allocate the price to the performance obligations
5. Recognise revenue as the performance obligations are fulfilled

Relative to previous accounting guidance, IFRS 15 may cause revenue to be recognised earlier in some cases, but later in others.

That's the thing. I don't believe that Cyan's SP decline is particularly market related, I think it's due to Arden and Hardman's tiny revenue predictions for the next couple of years. It's knocked the stuffing out of any real belief in the company growing fast.

Arden (Cyan's joint broker) provided us with the £16M estimated income for 2023/2024. It obviously took them hours and hours of research and discussions with the BoD to arrive at that figure, so I'm not going to dispute it.
That would be a hopeless rate of progress. Don't you agree?

Until now, raising capital has been relatively easy - play on the dream of millions and millions of units to be sold in India.
That time has now gone. Potential investors will now have a clearer idea of whether or not Cyan can actually make money in that market and I'm pretty sure of what their conclusion will be.
As you might be able to detect, I am not a very happy chappy.

That's just fine and dandy but you would expect revenue to increase by more than 30% per annum, if all of these contracts are up for grabs.
£16M projected revenue for 2023/2024?
If you're getting eff all for your product, it doesn't matter if they pay you upfront or over the period of the contract (e.g. 8 years), it's still eff all.
