Labour now is direct opposite to the Official leave campaign as it wants a Customs union and single market

so Gov policy would have to shift from a Deal or a ref .... "wow"

why ? because the house has already voted for Art 50 thus leave with no deal ....... MP's should be careful what they Vote for ... haha

Although the EU would probably refuse an extension of A50 if the only purpose was to kick the can down the road, if a majority of MPs had voted for a second referendum or the Norway option and the government had adopted it as its new policy, they might agree

The EU will not extend Article 50 ...... indeed by not doing, is trying to help May get this great deal for the EU into UK law by blackmail ie the threat of a no deal or extension ..as they will control all of the negotiation as May has given them £39 billion and a enforceable backstop that ensures that this is the Min of any negotiated settlement
The use of the words in the withdrawal agreement of "best Endeavour" in law is meaningless just as a point of clarity

well that is now a negotiated position what exactly would the EU want ? any thoughts on that one "Peoples Vote"

Is European law ... not UK law, HOC having voted for Article 50 cannot now stop it. Which then brings you into a big problem area, if you suspend or extend Art 50 we would still be members, in May next year we would have to start getting ready for MEP elections. ? how does that work

If you extend Article 50 you would also have to change Statute in the withdrawal act .... as it has a date on it ...again not a simple process

Conservatives will not back a peoples Vote .. that would in effect render them unable to Govern after all they have to follow a mandate given to the people by a conservative Government under Cameron, maybe only 4 conservatives would back this ...

By the way .... if you read through the withdrawal act that the HOC passed all the amendments that got voted down in the HOC ie EEA membership etc are listed .. This act is not a statute which cannot be amended by amendments of any deal put to the house, so the only way to overturn it is for the Gov (andrea leadsom) to bring it back to the house, labour cannot do it.

Well your plan has no route through HOC, even if you amend the "deal" these votes have no binding effect on the Gov. so the so called "meaningful" vote can only direct the Gov. it cannot force the Gov to have a Ref. Min Time for a ref is 24 weeks even if you got one approved, also its the electoral commission that decides on wording not MP's. It would need 100 conservatives with labour etc to get another General Election.

May and the deal cannot be separated ... just like Cameron and remain ..

the deal cannot pass the HOC

what is certain from a legal standpoint is NO deal ... its enshrined into UK law by statute

if May is removed and a strong Brexiteer is appointed ... (i get the chance to vote) then this is the route out .. as the deal will not be put to the house..

General Election ? no conservatives will not vote for it

Peoples Vote ... No would take 24 weeks min ...

I do not think the vote will be allowed by Conservatives, after all its Andrea leadsom that has to prepare it, and will resign if its not amended ... May will be removed from office
