Noel - my view is best not to post about politics on share chat boards unless it's relevant to the share as if I want to read mainstream left or right stuff I prefer to get it from the main protagonists.

I can see why you find john's position odd - you never know who's on a chat board - who would walk down their local high street with a placard saying I love/ hate Trump and not expect some personal conflict - where I live I'd probably call the ambulance in advance !

John - I'm a bit confused by your comment about your intentions - why mention politics and not expect people to disagree with you - you only have to look at the voting figures in the USA to understand that.

You've said yourself that you've only just joined Twitter but millions have for some time been taking their information from Social Media and YouTube - Farage has stated he couldn't have succeeded without it and Trump is legend for his application, What I'm saying is there is another world out there who don't automatically accept the biased mainstream media view of politics but not all of them shout it from the rooftops and some might be existing or potential AAU investors.

John - I knew nothing about Noel but the exchange shows how quickly a reasonable debate can polarise when politics are introduced.

Noel - I liked your post on the custody issue and I remember being bothered about it many years ago but deciding that I didn't have the time or clout to make a difference. That's still my position but if you're going to campaign on it I'd be interested to hear what the FCA official response is and any other professional sector comment.

It was a long time ago but I remember thinking that there should have been personal liabilities on directors with independent bonds to back them should any financial abuse occur!

Unfortunately investor protection is flawed in many ways but I admire those that research properly and then put a good case for change and good campaigns can succeed eventually.

Talking of scams I had the washing machine insurance scam yesterday over the phone - guy phoned to say my machine was just out of warranty and he'd be happy to insure it - I said really which machine, claiming I had 2, he quickly responded - most recent - I said what make was it - he said his screen didn't tell him that - I said who told you it was just out of warranty- he replied he'd only worked there a short time and didn't know - I got bored and suggested this was a scam - he put the phone down - so rude these people! ( BTW I DIY on carbon brush changes now! )

Dross - you are such a drama queen when information is not served up in the way you prefer - you then use terms such as mask to suggest some deliberate intention to conceal. The classic example was the TI production - it was easy to deduce the figure from the rns from the peak production reference but LK wasn't obliged to give you that info and it wasn't necessary to move forward.

If you don't trust Lk and you don't like the way he runs the business just invest elsewhere- you shouldn't let FOMO take over your life - it creates an unpleasant persona!

Garnheim - already answered - I think Ross is losing it - Goudron oil all sold direct to Petrotrin through the pipeline so historically we haven't had non IPSC oil to sell - now we have and that side of the business will expand!

Irene - I'd like to echo the Colonel's reply - Steeldrum production was very low when LK took them on and it was largely IPSC where first 151 bopd are paid at sub prime rate - debt was sizeable having regard to low revenue generation and G&A costs - was it going to be easy for them to raise capital to exploit their opportunities? CERP can raise cash so will probably fully exploit the assets in due course.

Is it best to keep 100% of a small cake or take a smaller % of a larger cake with far greater growth potential - the SD shareholders clearly opted for the latter - I doubt they are bothered about short term SP as long as they see LK getting on with exploitation of assets for long term benefit but I expect they appreciate your concern for them Irene!

Dross - re your query about the EOY cash it must be disappointing for you the amount is not lower but to exclude $0.54 million just to make you happy doesn't seem reasonable as I expect the cash is due imminently - for all I know Heritage bought the oil and may have 60 day settlement - might be something for you to email LK about - I take the view that CERP have sold oil on the market historically and problems are unlikely - sometimes you have to trust other people to look after money otherwise put your cash in a bank deposit that's FSA covered ( like a Post Office Book ! )

Irene - forget about LK being highly incentivised with half salary at 5.1p - what about that video about SWP - have you seen it yet
