Dross - LK provides average bopd for each month and I believe that satisfies most shareholders - it's only trolls that want a more detailed breakdown- if he gave it hourly you'd want it minute by minute!

CERP now includes TI - LK told you about TI production for September so you don't have to be a genius to do the math for an idea of the split!

Getting back to netbacks I've told you $45 WTI is very close to the new sweet spot of circa $48.50 so that is like a shot in the arm rather than having shot financials. For the zillionth time read the netbacks formula in the CPR on CERP website then you might have a grain of credibility!

desertjoe - interesting you should quote from CNN - if you look up the viewing figs they are apparently down 41% from last year - you might think CNN does a great job but in a polarised society one side don’t want to listen to a perceived purveyor of ‘ fake news ‘ .

John likes to talk up AAU and that is natural for a shareholder- you would think that readers could disregard what they may believe to be political tosh talking but in reality that may not be the case - all I’m saying is why bother with the political stuff unless it’s AAU related ? BTW I don’t make the rules - but have a read of (k ) in the LSE posting rules before giving me the ‘ free speech ‘ arguments .

Chesh - the trolls seem reluctant to debate me on financials - I think they must have been a bit shocked by my calculation in the post headed ‘ Dross - Schooboy Error ‘ Wed 01:17- compared to the H1 bopd if LK achieves an extra 250 bopd that is circa $7,500 per day or $1,365,000 over a half year @ $50 WTI - @ $45 ( supposedly close to the $40 falling off a cliff level) the daily extra revenue is circa $6,750!

I think reality is dawning on the trolls - financials could be looking very good here sooner than they want people to believe ( for some reason!).

dross - $45 WTI is close to the new CERP sweet spot of circa $48.50 under the Goudron IPSC which is detailed in the CPR on the CERP website - people pontificating on financials should try and understand how CERP is paid they would then appear less foolish!

LayLadyLay - The swop was a great deal but it depended on the loan being spent to generate a reasonable increase in production - same issue would have arisen if they went for a bog standard Business Development Loan from NatWest.

This time under LK risk is being diversified and we are even drilling SWP in stages to reduce risk but CERP is still not suitable for Post Office Book risk averse investors like you and Irene!

LayLadyLay - perhaps the Trinidad Government should have sold themselves an IPSC like CERPs that way they’d have been much less affected by the reduction in WTI !

Last time I looked WTI was over $45 which is good place for CERP at the moment as most of it's production is from IPSC contracts at Goudron and TI which I've discussed at excruciating length in this quiet period whilst we await the update.

If we continue to achieve the premium to WTI from Heritage the new sweet spot for CERP is circa $48.50 so $45 is getting pretty close - I expect LK is probably extremely happy with current position.

It shows how desperate trolls are that they now have to hypothesise lo-ball WTI scenarios to try and undermine confidence here - it used to be so much easier when NR was in charge!

Maz123 - I'm surprised you find my posting style unacceptable but I do apologise for having a spat which bored the pants of everyone here - it was meant to be one post to Malcolm as I felt a twinge of empathy with him in having to deal with Irene's Krapp. I hope Irene doesn't stimulate further posting from me.

desertjoe - let’s assume the story is correct I don’t believe it has any legal significance due to death of the father and ‘ hearsay ‘ from the daughters. It’s well documented that many avoided the draft or were allocated non combat roles - that it discriminated against generally less well off is scandalous but I see no campaign for that wound to be reopened, particularly as both political parties had examples of playing the system.

I don’t follow domestic USA news intensely but even I’m aware that Donald Trump’s life to date is unlikely to be a role model one would advance for future generations of Americans.This latest revelation, if true, is IMO unlikely to influence his supporters to turn against him and support the opposition as from what I see views are deeply entrenched.

My basic point is that although the latest issue plays well for the media it’s unlikely to influence POG. You may have read that Trump has suddenly become cuddly with the Turkish leader is that good or bad news for AAU, probably not bad news but perhaps more of interest to investors in a Turkish gold mine.

Trump and Brexit issues are bound to be divisive and most people have their preferred sources of information and are unlikely to be influenced by bb chat but hypothetically if a Trump supporter considered AAU they might be be put off if they knew that reading this board daily meant they would have to read opinions already advanced by say CNN!

Why post to offend say 50% of potential investors about a subject not directly related to AAU. BTW I’m not a shareholder here so if it puts off people it doesn’t affect my pocket but even if only 10% are offended why bother ?

PS John - I brook very little of anything coming from the Labour Party but I have to thank Harold Wilson for resisting massive pressure to send UK troops to Vietnam.

Irene - I've over 4000 posts just point me to one that blames others for my investment decisions - I'm comfortable with my holding - you seem obsessively interested Irene - I've told you zillions of times I'm not disclosing any details but that's no excuse for you to lie about it!

johnpwh - I do find it a bit strange when people in the UK feel the need to comment on that Trump story, particularly on a share BB. Those that arguably are most affected by that war are probably best placed to offer most meaningful comment. Perhaps Trump along with many others harboured some uneasiness about their absence from combat but he seems to be popular with Vets and he has moved money in their direction. People of both parties appeared to find ways to avoid front line combat - volumes have been written about it Clinton/Bush etc.

Irene -as I’ve explained before I hold CERP and I’m comfortable to do so - I don’t encourage others to buy but when someone comes on that board perpetually asking naive questions about future performance suggesting that they have zero risk tolerance I feel obliged to reiterate that rewards are often associated with risk and that it appears you would better use your time researching interest bearing savings accounts in case there is something out there to beat The Post Office Book ( beware of non FCA covered accounts Irene!).
