Good evening Tiburn,
It is quite interesting that a lot of the leases around us are in private hands ,
the Kirkwood lease is not ,
but i wonder how many of the parcels have been sublet?,
i am not sure how deep we would have to dig to find the answers.
But on the face of it we may have opportunities to pick up many subleases around us if AM deires.
I am sure you have noticed that many of the leases were picked up for peanuts,
even some of the more recent ones.
Let us hope that AM can pick up some of the new leases near by at the same reasonable rates.
It also appears that the new discovery in the frontier was outside what was originally thought to the southwest.
i think there is plenty of scope going forward once we have escaped the current empass.

firstly may I offer everyone a happy and very prosperous New Year.
We started last year with only potential of Nigeria ,and a possibility of acquiring the Wyoming play (57 %)..
We start this year with the potential of Nigeria, owning the Wyoming play ( 57% ) and the possibility of gaining another
( 27% ) of the play.
So on the face of it not a bad year,
from explorer to producer with multiple opportunities to become a bigger producer.
Aaah but , I hear some cry out,
the SP and MC are under water as are we ,
market sentiment is at an all time low,
PI sentiment at an all time low,
our CEO neither cares or understands our need for communications
Some of the above is indisputably true and some of it maybe true, the big questions are which bits.
and why.
I am not sure if AM expected Hadron to dump in such a spectacularly harm full way or not,
we would surely have been in a different place now if they hadn't.
But once they did maybe AM was presented with an unexpected opportunity to good to miss.
If the SP had hovered around the 64p opening price after suspension with the corresponding MC
AM would have had to gone full steam ahead with production as a fast as he could and with WTI nearly double our purchase price it would have been a no brainer.
Then.
The price of CUDA WI would have been way out of our price range and they would probably have survived..
So , suddenly and imho with the full knowledge of our senior lenders , ii's, and HNW's a plan was hatched,
the only draw backs to this plan were that all of the ( aaah buts ) would come to pass.
Look at all the topside upgrading ,new wells ( confidentially ), gas supply and bullet upgrades he has achieved ready for the future production.
The need for masked or negative slants to comms was important .
WHY.
Because if you sit back and think of the consequences of purchasing the CUDA WI at or close to
Doug 189's prediction $15 million + 5 million shares are a massive coup for us, it cost them $31 when the WTI was much lower, the debtors are owed Approx $ 45 mill US,
so anybody feeling sore take heart.
The fundamentals via Tedoboy have not diminished,
the information we get from Tiburn and others is as good as the horses mouth.
Watch the Glenn Dawson pod found by IST ( well done ) ,
I can hear the screaming and may have already been posted while I am writing this ,
WHY can't AM be like that.
Then remember our CEO with luck in timing and circumstances may have crushed his chances with the tactics he has employed ,and got us a bargain.
The ( Aaaah buts ) can be turned around at anytime.
The chance to purchase Cuda for pocket change will never come again.
The timetable for us to fly has been delayed ,
It has not been cancelled.
Also I will not be surprised if the Q4 and update are unremarkable also .
Q1 and Q 2 will uncover our future.

I think that little Tiburn 09;02 post some up the feelings on sentiment,
i tnink it must be a given that at some point he must explain himself on the comms,
maybe he will choose to tells the boards privately about this ,
can he do it publicly ?,
i for one would be bitterly dissappointed if all this pain and bad sentiment turned out to have been avoidable.
But for now i choose to believe that there is method in the madness,
only time will tell.

we know AM has a huge ego,

But is moving COPL forward in the way he thinks is best.
I still believe the CUDA situation is unusual,
to try and buy part of an asset you already own for good value without alerting others of the true potential of it was always going to be difficult.

I trully hope that things will be different after it is resolved,
the need for silent running mode will be over.
He may be half way to building what he wants to achieve,
the way to finish the job will be to show the company of not to hide it.
Also a huge ego needs to be fed from time to time.

I started this post several days ago but with the depressed sentiment on the board decided not to complete it.
Today is a different day ,
the air has cleared somewhat,
the discussion yesterday was fascinating,
the Pressure = $ post by Tiburn was majorly significant,
the high pressures from the BFSU is great news,
it means to those that understand how the Miscible Flood works,
we will be producing more than expected and extract a much higher % of the oil contained in the unit.
It means that the simulations the company have done have underestimated the stability of the unit,
great news for us all.
It will take time to sort out the topside plant as clearly they did not expect such a positive response.
Also it may mean that the excess gas being produced can be diverted at some point to the CC unit for Miscible flooding their and thus increase its production in the future.
Did anyone notice that the Bankssy post was a first time effort,
could this mean that AM intended this board to receive it.
Some interesting points,
“they have been planning for this eventuality for some month's” ( cuda )
that they would not be posting figures without the analyses to back it up.( BFSU production )
So we are still in silent running mode officially but AM is trying to reach out to this board.
There must be reasons for both of these instances which we do not yet understand.
I have always been realistic about AM's motives.
But the fact he wished us to understand a little of what is going on means he is not oblivious to the feelings on this board.

Well our much maligned CEO will now have moved on,
he has laid and made all his plans to capture Cuda , and as any good CEO would do he will be thinking about his next moves.
So if he doesn't get it.
1) The worst outcome for him and for us is that one of our nearest neighbours (ie Devon Energy )decides the opportunity here with the knowledge they have of the deeps on there leases is to good to miss,
and with the financial clout they have could easily fund their share of any costs to our detriment .
2)The least worst option is that somebody has more cash to buy it stretching themselves financially to get it.
Option 1 is probably looking unlikely as AM chose to only raise the 7.5 million to top up the war chest ,
surely this would not have been nearly enough to hold off one of the big boys.
Option 2 is possible but we have no evidence to support it either..
The funny thing is though that I think that for the company going forwards the next moves would be almost identical..
We know that he has £7.5 million from the placement,
we know he has $13 million in the bank,
we also know the accordion facility will be triggered at some point another $20 million.
So as near as damn it $40.5 million to spend on new wells.
So if option 1 comes to pass he would actually have $52.4 million to divert towards new wells with the new partners share.
So he could sink 7 large horizontal wells in the deeps at average $7million /well at a conservative estimate by near by standards say 2000 bls/ day .
That would give copl net 7778 bls/ day on top of the BFU & CC @ ( 4000 + 1000 ) bopd @ 57.7% & 66.7% giving 2975 bopd.
Total 10753 bopd.
If option 2 was to come to pass AM 's approach might be slightly different.
He would still have $40.5 million to spend on new wells,
but without a contribution from a new cash strapped partner he would probably
end up with 100% WI (assuming CNOOC non participation again ).
Therefore he could sink 5 large horizontal wells @ $7 million / well.
This would then give us 10,000 bopd for FDU + 2975 bopd for BFU & CC .
Total 12,975 bopd.
So you see we would not be in to bad a shape if he doesn't get it either.

I would like to pass a few thoughts on comms or the lack of it.
I have the feeling that AM is playing a game of hide and seek with the receivers,
i expect an offer has been made by AM,
the receivers rightly are doing their job to try and force us to pay more.
this is why any information that could assist the receivers is being hidden or down played.
Doug has just pointed out a nice example ,
$5.1 m on hardware upgrades,
A seemingly innocuous piece of information he could give us ,
but as it could equate to 33% or 25% of a potential Cuda bargain basement bid,
could be seen by the receivers as a potential lever.
I did not hide the fact that i was not overly excited about the website,
I have really only had one worry about our future and was hoping that the website would allay it,
but no,
in the investors section on most websites,shareholder information contains a list of the major investors ( as HFB has pointed out many times the TR1 system is not realiable ).
even this information is still hidden.
As long as they remain i think we are all assured a bright future,
I think they still are but reassurance would have been nice.
Whilst i am not sure if AM reads this board,
i am sure he has watchers or advisors that do.
I think that they would feel the researchers on this board MISS NOTHING,
every stone is turned to reveal the information hidden beneath.
I rather he might think that he would be more worried that the receivers might read this board lol,
and find more levers he would rather they did not have.
I think some of our bretheren under estimate the quality of the info produced to help them.

I often hear AM being criticised for losing the trust of retail investors,
RI' s do not give a fig about trust,
there will be plenty of backroom analysts of trading rooms in the city and maybe other cities watching this situation play out.
they will have worked out the potentials here as many of our brethren have.
While we suffer the shenanigans as LTH's,
they do not have too,
but as sure as eggs are eggs,
when the time is right they will act.
they are only interested in profit and as fast as possible,
they don't care about trust and good will,
their measures are competence and improvement of the companies fortunes going forward.
So sentiment is not an issue for them ,
and unfortunately it should not be for us either.

I have been busy today giving a lovely 98 year old lady an enjoyable day out,
not related to me,
very satisfying and enjoyable to give instead of taking.
I come in and analyse the board for the day.
What do i see,
the usual suspects have had their predicted their morning field day,
this morning while a few shares were being sold they were in full song.
When trading slowed down they were silent.
Then at 12:50 Stas 20 posed a question ,
at 12:51 Lb28 posted an answer, usual negative answer.
At 16:11 Ironhide posted another negative barb.
I am afraid i've had enough,
PI's trying to make an honest coin being persuaded to part with there honest investments by the likes of these 2.
The regular posters on this board have had their number for a long time,
but at times of insecurity they do the most harm.
Although i cannot make such investors see the positive case all day long ,
i can register my disgust at their enduring actions.
So i am going to block them both ,
AND URGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.
IF AND WHEN THE COMPANY STARTS TO MOVE FORWARD AS WE ALL HOPE, I WILL UNBLOCK THEM TO SEE IF THEY ARE AS ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT SUCCESS AS THEY ARE ABOUT PERCEIVED FAILURE.

The receivers of Cuda of course understand about the true value of the Cuda WI.
But other potential buyers will also be well aware of what is happening with the implied state of the company controlling the asset.
This is a smoke and mirrors exercise designed to sow doubt ,
and in uncertain global climate this may be enough for AM to pull of a ridiculous firesale bid.
Anybody who thinks that AM has not consulted his larger II's or HNW's is deluded.
They would bail out in a flash if they thought their investments were in peril.
I am not going to waste my time going through all the pro's again .

At the risk of making myself unpopular i stand by the subject of this post.
The longer we receive none of the reams of good news we know that AM has the better it is for us all.
Why do i say this ?,
It has been said many times and especially since Tiburn unravelled the WYOGC website that the production figures are mostly in the public domain,
and this is correct for the BFU/CC 57.7%/ 66.7% to Copl.
This a known known,
we and others know the targets expected for production for these fields ( and no matter what the doomsayers espouse )
it will be reached and probably surpassed over the next 12 months.
Tedoboy has pronounced the figures eloquently with or without for these units.
But this is not the way this company will propel us to large multibagging,
we will do very well but,
it is the Federal Deep unit that will propel us to stardom.
This is the known unknown,
and this information is not publicly available.
the Cuda share of these units is 29.44% ,
and if a new buyer was to enter the frey might get a share of the CNOOC portion as well.
this would give them a bigger portion of a much bigger pie .
So i believe for long term gain this is much more important,
the sp which everybody is so worried about is clearly being controlled,
so i will be happy if we get no serious RNA pronouncements before the one that announces that the Cuda WI is secured.
I am afraid i will also upset people more by saying ,
if he gets it for the touted $ 15 million it will be a miracle,
i would not be the least bit worried if he had to give say ( a royalties deal of the BFU/CC units for a fixed period ) to get it,
I believe the added value of getting the Cuda WI overthe whole acreage would be more than worth it.
So that is why i believe that ,
no news is good news.

At last the voice of reason,
Panama you are right about the public perception,
but i think this is the public perception AM wants to create at the moment .
It is not aimed at us ,
he wants to appear difficult to deal with ruthless ,
this is aimed at any other potential bidders and the receivers,
all for the same reason.
He has been giving regular news , even responding to pi pressure over the website.
What he will not do is,
let the sp go, allow the market cap to rise,
therefore the news on so many fronts we all crave is on HOLD.
It has been said that he should release production news which is in the public domain,
but it has taken our resident best researcher a long time to wade through the WGC site to find it,
and even then has been argued about the interpretation of the figures.
People are taking every action personally ,
they should not.
When the time is right i think AM will take great pleasure in releasing ,
good news after good news ,
this will be the natural progression of moving the company forward after Cuda is in the bag or not.
In the mean time there will be no news that will turn around our fortunes.
Until then we must content ourselves that what is going on in the background is for own benefit ultimately .

I was totally underwhelmed by it ,
the header of the opening page ghosting through every page ,
out of date at first posting,
many pages with no data attached,
old nigeria report could have updated figures to reflect our current % of wi.
I hope they did not pay to much for it.
Most 16 year olds sitting in their bedrooms could have done a more profesional job .
Only plus point Aerial video and associated commentary .
This one was probably a response to criticism,
when debugged and information updated and revised will suffice i suppose.
