Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I doubt the institutions that bought at the full asking price were cajoled with the prospect of a 50p dividend and EUA2 with no resource figures backing it up. ACF report conservatively put this significantly over £1 without the JV factored in. I finally had the opportunity to run through EUA with a friend yesterday and told him I'd be disappointed with £1.20 per share. He replied 'after buying in at around 3p?', he couldn't believe I'd be disappointed with a near 40x return. Obviously I'm ecstatic with that level of return, but would anyone be happy selling their house below market even though it had gone up multiples since buying. The principle is the same.
However, thats irrelevant. Dmitry knows what its worth and won't be lo- balled.
Thanks B7, found it in my e-mails a few days ago. Only invested the minimum £3k/75,000 shares. I take it the 3 month lock in means we can't bed and Isa/Sipp them as that involves selling?
Panderman, by rights he should go. Not sure I want that, seeing as the entry requirements into the position of MP are to be corrupt and self serving liars. I am a political refugee, always voted before because it is a right many have fought and died for but pretty much the options are akin to walking in diarrhoea or having a drunk puking all over you after having a sweaty kebab
RATR - i definitely think its very close with definitive news next month in my opinion. Frustrating waiting when there was a news blackout, got really easy a couple of weeks ago or so when news was coming thick and fast, if nothing next month I will start throwing the dogs toys out of his firework pram.
caught a little bit of info on the radio coming in to work this morning, saying the Americans are upset that sanctions wont work with the Russians because of so much Russian integration into British business and the fact a lot of the reason theyre here is because of the legal system (which is considered the best in the world) and the fact they've got unlimited funds to take on the British Govt, with the British Govt not having the appetitie to take them on.
Also the Ukranian foreign office cant understand all the furore over this. They're saying the troops have been on the border since April, nothing has happened since then to alarm them. We are being fed 5hit again. maybe the threat of war is another distraction tactic for them to bring in something else thats going to be unpopular through the back door.
MMA, Ive had this on a watchlist for some while, seeing it continue to drop whilst awaiting news on uplist. Obviously was looking at as low an entry point as I could get not sure whether I read somewhere there was likely to be a raise at much lower than the current SP. If i recall there was suggestion of 0.55p? though i might be confusing with another stock (at work without my research notes) I take it youre thinking this could go much lower?
Much as the BoD know the company, intrinsic value and have an idea of what they'll sell for, many like myself that have been wanting movement on the deal citing Black Swan events such as Covid as a reason to push this through. We are in a period of turmoil, not just covid, but politically, socially etc and I think Covid and the issues between Russia and Ukraine (which are being blown up out of all proportion imho) won't be the last things we have to deal with in the near future as investors. EuA getting this over the line makes holding elsewhere that much easier.

Poor investor you say BTC cant fall to $10k or below. I dont think it will, but its no different to gold/other miners that the cost of extraction exceeds the value of product. They mothball the mine until it becomes economical to mine again. Im definitely looking at sub $20k BTC at some point in waht now looks like the not too distent future.
Its only a profit if you sell. Im also sitting on a decent profit, and have recently been more positive that the finishing line is finally in touching distance, but there's always the Black Swan event like Covid etc potentially around the corner. Whilst I think the Russia/ Ukraine situation won't ultimately affect the deal, I am a little concerned that I've convinced a fair few people to invest some reasonable amounts in here, I even had a play date with one of my oldest pals set up on Sunday to set him up a trading account and run through some possible trades for him. Today I thought 'do i really want to put my neck on the line recommending anyone invest in Russia?'
Hopefully everything is aligning so that I can get BTC at under $20k and many of my gold mining /watchlist at their year lows before the sector becomes loved again, but I can't help but think I wish the BoD had pulled this off already.
it appears my request for the pre-ipo price has been discussed on the Telegram group. I am invested to the tune of 75,000 shares (3k), just couldnt find details of the buy in price.
