Teva getting an adverse reaction to a WSJ article released today.
Guess indivior will get some blow back,shouldnt,but I think the market has a knee jerk reaction to anything with opioid in it and is not distinguishing between the peddlars and those trying to provide a solution.

It has been stated elsewhere but it chimes with my approach.
I view this like a long dated call option which will expire worthless or I will make a decent sum.
I am prepared to hold until my target is reached or it goes into admin !
So,I am not trading this as it is impossible to know where to place stops,I do trade short term with other shares but not this,I have no idea what it is going to do over the next Q but as long as it stays above zero I will be happy.

I am looking for an entry here.
There is trend line support off the Nov 15 iron ore low at circa $66,I think it may reach it,this is also close to a 50 % retrace off the Jan 19 high.I dont pay much attention to what analyst say unless it is a sell,Barclays say 110p here.Looking at the price action there are 4 large bear bars on the monthly,ideally one would like to see some sideways action on the monthly or at the very least on the weekly chart,the last bull bar on the weekly was 8 weeks ago !!
Beat to react than predict on this one.If the above doesnt play out then I have missed an opportunity,am waiting for sub 100p

IS anyone concerned re theft of gold/silver bullion circa $7million from one of fresn mines ?

In my view a manageable fine is more likely,the DOJ usualy extract some blood but rarely do they go for the jugular.
Given the above I have a position here at 40p,sized accordingly given the risks.

If this is the start of a turn then short term traders should look at where the bulls are trapped.
Taking YTD H46p and L6 (and again nobody knows where the low is and could be 0).
It is clear that 16p-26p is where the recent entrapment took place so expect max churn and volatility,26p also represents a 50% retrace from the 6p low.All major advances occurs with the least number of punters on board,accumulation is facilitated by engineering max volatile to make us plebs take profit too early.
Each to their own,my timespan is 3 yrs for my target to be reached or not.I am off on my travels for circa a month so good luck till then.

I read this book annually.Now this guy blew his brains out for a finish so he couldnt follow his own advise and went bankrupt.
The best part is where he says it is the sitting that makes real money, and, its very difficult to do.In fact research shows that we are more comfortable sitting on a loss than being in profit.Its just the way we are wired.We are comfortable holding a loss because taking it causes more discomfort and when we are up 50% after assuming massive risk ,the closure principle kicks in and we just have to take the 50% and loose out on the 10 bagger.I have no idea how this will work out here but I know what my plan is because I understand probability/risk adjusted return.But hey,each to their own and this is just my opinion and not worth much in wider scheme of things.

I have a fair amount here at 8p.
It will either be lost or I will make a lot.I go by risk adjusted returns ie if I am assuming this amount of risk then what kind of return do I need to make money over a certain amount of similar trade setups.Today doesnt mean anything really as I am looking to sell at 72p over within a 3yr timeframe.
Colonel,Good trade with Glencore,I bought at £1 and sold at £2.56 well done for holding.Glasenberg bought a truckload which steadied the ship.Would be nice if Mr Duffy ponied up,I have a lot more skin in the game !!!

I made a lot of money buying call options on the non TMTs 2000/2001.
I was looking around for dot com bust survivors ,Marconi had fallen from £12 to £4 and the bottom looked in and it was being aggressively promoted as THE share.I was a lot greener back then and bought a call option sinking a £100k, within 2 weeks my option was worthless as the share had dropped to below £3.I thought it was all gone but within a few more weeks it had popped over the £4 on take over rumours,I think some big boys were trapped like me and they wanted it higher,I grabbed my chance and sold at break even.I will never forget it and still have the contracts.When I am feeling overly bullish I go into my study and pull them out and say you lucky lucky boy !!!! Most people have no idea how markets work,it aint pretty.I have a position here at 8p and will hold for a few years if it survives !!!

Since Dec 2016 which was the last cycle high @ 173.35p to todays price of 6.35p have you ever posted a negative opinion on this company ?

Kabba is one of the funniest posters I have come across,always good for a laugh,if you see it from that perspective you will see the cryptic humour too and under no circumstances should you take it(not sure of the gender) seriously.

Nobody here should really care about our opinions but you rule out zero,I dont and its well in the mix.
In my experience people should be wary of posters who might have too much skin in the game as emotions tend to trump logic and they tend to over emphasis certainty and neglect probability.

Volatile company in a volatile sector in a volatile region,throw in recession fears and this gets hammered.
Tecnically,there is historic demand 120p-140p which may attract the big funds.
I would like ore to be 450 rather than 637 currently before committing to give a wider margin of safety

Since Dec 2016 this has fallen from 172p,only bears have made money.
Any share that looses this amount of equity has a 90% chance of loosing all its equity.
Understand risk/reward,probability and risk adjusted return.
If one fell likes a gamble fine but be under no illusion and dont listen to bull****ters like the colonel and Kabba,as it aint their money you will be gambling with.Could you make a fortune here ? it is possible but the stats say unlikely.

There are ways around the 10p issue.
My question was hypothetical,neither bull or bear.You are very bullish on pdl.
What is your answer to those 2 questions if you were minded to answer them.
