Meadow, it depends what your exit strategy is (if you have one).

If you're waiting for the funding spike to sell up and move on, I take your point as the lower it falls, the further it has to climb back up on 'just' funding.

However, if you hang about for post-drill results and then asset sale/production then I don't think a delay will make a jot of difference. The gas price at that point will and you could make an argument that the delay meant we coincided with a drop but the price is pretty volatile anyway.

The asset is not going to change in size/value in a month or 2 so I don't believe it matters.

We all want the RNS to land and end this uncertainty but I'm comfortable waiting. If anything definitively wasn't going to happen in Q2 as planned, we would have to have had an RNS.

MD, I've no issue with criticism but suggesting Butler is worse than Yeo is absurd. Shareholders demanded updates, he provided updates and is now criticised for things outside of his control.

Amadan, at that time, several shareholders were demanding news and emailing AB constantly, claiming a lack of updates. He shared the info about the survey and now those sane people are claiming he shouldn't have given timelines of he couldn't meet them.

It's a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't.

There are many things at play here, mainly Woodside's failure to give the go ahead for TL processing.

And then you have people like Ian12 claiming Butler is worse than Yeo! I know we're frustrated but come on!

Amadan, read the RNS you referenced again.

It didn't say the results of the survey would be available in 5 days, it says it would be completed in 5 days.

The results were to be added into the Environmental Impact Statement to be submitted as part of the approvals for the drill.

I think we're all disappointed that concrete news has yet to emerge but linking the 5 days to the time since it was mentioned isn't correct.

Maybe_tomorrow, it might be a reply to an Upstream post from 7 months ago but he wrote it today.

If you wanted to get info out to as many people as possible, you'd piggy back one their posts, wouldn't you? From someone who was with Woodside for all that time, I'd say it's worthy of attention. And the uptick would suggest, others are feeling the same.

Wronin, you talk about a bad investment and say you would like better performance. If you wanted your share to 'perform', why buy an AIM oiler? All of them are speculative and need that one big success to cash in and move on. That's where they perform (or not in the majority of cases)

We are slightly different in that we know we have $bns worth of gas with, a Shell assigned, 100% CoS.

Our issues are political and funding (the drill and the route to market).

Drill funding is close because RNSs have told us so. Once the political stuff sorts out the RtM, it will perform.

It is frustrating but we still have a very good chance with Chudditch and we either become a producer or (more likely in my view), ENI or another big boy swoops in. Then we have the funds to start on the Philippines assets and just have to deal with more of the politics.

Spot on Shiny. The last official statements from the company still said planning to drill in Q2, Pacific have exclusivity regards funding and we have an LOI regards a rig. Nothing has changed in that respect otherwise there would HAVE to have been another RNS.

We need ANP approval for the drill to go ahead so it's a case of what is preventing that approval? Is it that we haven't agreed terms on the financing so haven't submitted a request or are we awaiting Woodside pulling their collective thumbs out of you know where and agreeing to processing in TL?

Frustrating, yes, but the official line is drilling in Q2.
