Yes, it's frustrating but there are so many factors involved that delays are inevitable. Looking at the positives, we have government backing, we have a funding partner lined up (hopefully) but if that doesn't happen, there'll be others. One or more of the Philippines consortium might be interested, for example. ENI looking to get going next door and they might have jealous eyes on our prize. We have an asset that Shell assigned a 100% CoS. For a company worth next to nothing, we're doing ok. Bring it home AB!

Wareing, the way I read it, the 5 days was for the survey itself. The info gathered is going to be added into the Environmental Impact Study and no timeframe for that has been given. I don't think any deadlines have been broken in that respect.

In the same way as the SP went up because the spread doubled yesterday, it came down today because it halved again. Nothing to see here (today!).

That really surprised me, too. Given The clamour to get the gas to Oz, I suspected it was the cost of taking it to TL that they didn't fancy. No real excuses now.

Momentum is a great thing and TL has finally generated some. It's a shame (other than the presents, food and drink) that Christmas is getting in the way. A new year's pressie from Dr Butler will get 2025 off to a flyer. That report is all part of the bigger picture but I agree, it's a strange one, given it was about Malaysia and Indonesia! Indonesia FphS!

It's all coming together nicely, Filthy. You say this will benefit Sunda in the long run but I suspect it might be a shorter term benefit. TL are going to need to start generating revenue to find the massive investment and ours is the perfect solution to that problem. Everything seems to be aligning. Let's hope funding news is out soon.

As I said in the hullabaloo (great word) the week before last, about a lack of rig being booked, booking it before the funding is in place would have been irresponsible.

I'm hoping that this a sign that the other parts are falling into place in the background and that this letter of intent is sufficient to ensure we get next dibs on the rig.

I can understand Ian's (and others) frustration and anyone who can't see their position, even if they don't share it, ought to be more understanding.

However, I also share the opinion that AB and the new board are doing all they can. Projects as complicated as this rarely land on time or budget. I would suggest it would be wrong of us to book the rig until such a time as we have the means to use it, otherwise we would be wasting money.

The beauty here is, we know what's down there and, once funding is in place, we can hopefully move quickly to prove the asset. Then the fun really begins!
