Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
Hello all. It's all been a little boring, almost to the point where I posted the clip of Vyvyan hitting Rick with the cricket bat in the Young Ones!
However, this is something that could potentially make things a little more interesting! I've seen stats posted in a few places on the electricty generation of the UK at the moment and more than half is using gas. Coupled with the apparent issues in Norway, perhaps a little jump in gas prices could give us a boost!
"The plant seems to have steadied now but we do have a two/three day shutdown planned for June"
The above was taken directly from Richard Herbert's answer to one of the last round of IQ's. This was planned, presumably in relation to the permanent pipework but it doesn't say specifically.
Ab, We would definitely benefit from that but I don't feel we can use last year's figures as a benchmark to make judgements by. The price will go up, certainly but I think last year was so extraordinary that we're unlikely to see rises like that again soon.
I saw talk of increased demand from the Far East yesterday and European countries will need to stockpile for winter but last year there was genuine panic which isn't there to the same degree now, in my view.
Let's see what happens to the gas price today.
GLA.
Agreed ab. I took a look at the historical price charts earlier and (ignoring last year as it was extraordinary) June saw the lowest price in the previous 9 years! If that pattern is repeated then we should start to see a steady increase shortly.
The situation in Ukraine still makes this an extraordinary time, of course, but demand will surely rise as countries around Europe prepare themselves for next winter.
Your best post ever in my view, HITS. It's slightly baffling.
The mild winter in Europe didn't help as it's created a lack of demand after the panic buying that went on last summer. I suspect e) is the closest option to the reality. There have only been 30 trades at time of writing which is similar to quite a few recent sessions.
A lot of other stocks (of a similar nature) on my watch list are also struggling so maybe it's the wider energy market that's lost it's appeal
It's not as if we are in the shadows. Every time an RNS is released we top the most read RNS of the day on Twitter. I can't see how the level of Opex is that widely known so that it could suppress to this degree, unless people are waiting until year end results are shared!
You only have to look at 88e to see the ridiculous effect that sentiment, genuine or fabricated can have. I've been in and out of there for years and was bitten quite nastily on one occassion but I was luck enough to buy in at 0.5p before the Reddit crowd in America picked it as a target and was able to sell at almost 3.5p. They are still producing nothing from any of their drills but still have almost double our Mcap even though they are down at 0.36p right now.
It makes no sense!
GLA.
As I refered to earlier, I don't believe we have. I suspect that should have read third well settling in.
If we had a third compressor that either mean we could expect 15mmscf per day in the near future or the resevoir pressure has plummeted and we need extra support. We'd have had RNS confirmation of either if they were the case.
Good old fashioned typo in my book!
Chesh, have you got any salt to hand? If so grab a huge pinch as this is SV we are talking about.
EVERYTIME he talks about his 'holding' it's a different size. He recently announced that he'd completely sold up and then shortly afterwards announced he's holding the same number of shares at the exact same average price!
Just smile and move on, is my advice!
I noticed this morning that I cannot post a new message from my phone! Otherwise I would have posted the link earlier.
There was mention of a third compressor in one of the answers (given what BV and I talked about yesterday) but I suspect that is a typo and they meant 'third well'.
The adiitional info on the Namurian reservoir is interesting and provides the opportunity for additional good news to drag the share price down!
It appears Balcombe is still in their sights. I suspected listening to RH in the interview that they were shying away from oil in favour of gas but again, good news and the one Baits has been waiting for!
Plenty going on. We just need gas prices to tick up so we can push beyond £100m Mcap and see if that theory is right!
GLA and have a nice day.
