Very rarely work out well for the average PI. It's invariably a cue to start diluting again.. the old rinse and repeat scenario. Hopefully JZ has a master plan.. GLA.

If I was £100k down, I would be moaning too!!! :) Guess it's all relative... either way, I think a bumpy-ride ahead, for all involved with AST. We will need some luck to succeed. We must be on to PLAN F by now!!

Slovenia could tie this up in "red-tape" for a year or more... it's very easy to say just settle out of court, but where are AST going to be this time next year, with no permits, and only two working wells (at the moment)?? Mind Boggles. Even with fund-raising, it's going to be tight to fight-on for any length of time... Hope CH has a workable solution!! :)

Happens now, we can rest assured I think that permits are no longer near-term? Sounds like it's chaos in Slovenia. We need to carry on... and raise funds, to keep going to try and attain them, either through normal channels, or through the courts? That route is costly though, so I hope it does not come to it...

Environment Agency boss resigns amidst Petišovci gas war
Ljubljana, 12 November - Joško Knez, the director general of the Environment Agency (ARSO), stepped down on Monday, over an internal review of procedures for granting environmental permits for a controversial Ascent Resources gas extraction project in the far north-east of the country.
